I had been using lesser, cheaper headphones for my MP3 players and PC's for years, while promising myself something much better when I had the money. I actually never had a pair of headphones that were battery-powered before, so I was definitely curious on how good the quality would be with these.
My cousin, who travels by airplane a lot, has a similar pair of headphones and uses them for their noise-cancelling purposes. I simply wanted something super high quality that would make all the music I played through it sound like I was right there in the recording studio. I must say that the quality is pretty intense. I listen to a lot of bass-heavy songs, and it really thumps loud and clear. I can do my weightlifting workouts with them on, but I am scared to get too much sweat on them, and I won't even do my jump-roping with these on my head.
The headphones themselves are black and silver, and they look really cool to me. Obviously an audio cable comes in the box, along with a Li-on battery, the charger, and some kind of adapter to use on an airplane. I have never been on an airplane ride, so I haven't had a need for those yet. Oh by the way, the way I use them, the battery will last several days between charges, and that is definitely a good feature for me.
As far as what I don't like about them, they could be better when I lie down on my side. This weird sounds comes from then whenever I lay down, and lying down is my preferred position when listening to metaphysics podcasts. I have to use my cheap $30 dollar headphones for that. And these headphones don't really seem that sturdy. The whole contraption seems fragile, like something could easily break or become loose, which again is why I am scared to jump rope with them on. But as far as crisp sound quality, I haven't had a better pair.
