Black & Decker DCM18S Brew 'n Go Personal Coffeemaker

Rating: 4 out of 5
  • Currently 4.0/5.0

Last year we bought this coffee maker and so far it's been perfect! It's very convenient to brew coffee for just one person and then head out the door really quickly to work.

One of the best features of this machine is that it has a built-in, permanent filter. This is great because there is no more buying or running out of filters! All you have to do is just dump the grinds and then rinse out the filter. And if you want to get a deep-cleaning of the filter, you can wash it in the dishwasher. We do this like once a week.

The other thing about this coffee maker is that it's fast and efficient. In just a few minutes from turning it on, I can be on my way to work drinking coffee. Unlike a normal coffee maker which always makes a number of cups, I only need one. And it stinks to have to wait forever to get that one cup of coffee. With this machine I just wait two or three minutes and I'm out the door, coffee in hand. I don't even have to pour the coffee either, it's already in my mug. And if you think about this, the only thing you have to clean is the mug. You don't have to clean the pot because there is no pot!

There's only one negative that I see about this coffee maker, and that's that I wish they made the coffee mug that comes with it a bit larger. If it were larger I'd be able to carry more coffee to work and not run out so soon. This, however, is not a really big problem. The coffee maker works so flawlessly, and works so well for a busy person on the move like me that I can't really complain all that much. If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely purchase another one.
