I absolutely love the Bissell Proheat carpet cleaner. This quite possibly could be the best $300 I have ever spent. I have five children, a husband, two dogs and a cat in my home so my carpets take a serious beating. Up until purchasing this unit I have either rented a cleaner from the store for the day which is a pain and costly or I have just paid to have them done. Now I can clean my carpets whenever I want to and as often as I like.

This carpet cleaner claims to remove allergens, dust mites and bacteria with its 12 cleaning rows of power brushes and it certainly lives up to its promise. It even has a heavy duty spot cleaning option that is activated with a push of a button. This unit has a hot water heater that keeps the water hot so that your carpets gets cleaner and it even heats the water through the hose so you an effectively clean upholstery and stairs. Oh, and the attachment is nine feet long which is also perfect for cleaning the inside of your car with.

The Bissell Proheat carpet cleaner uses formulas that have been designed with the environment in mind which was very important to me and it even has suction around the edges so you can get right close to the wall with it. It does weigh 27 pounds which gets a bit heavy after you've been pushing it awhile and the cord is only 30 feet so you may have to unplug it a few times to switch outlets but those are such minor issues I've still given this unit a 5-star rating.

It comes with a tough stain brush and their famous TurboBrush spraying crevice too. Also, the unit is an ocean mist blue color which is very calming to look at when you are engaging in physical labor. Whether you have just a little carpet or a lot, this cleaning system will more than pay for itself after a few uses and it is ideal for anyone with a busy household.
