Will giving the birds drugs, such as speed, speed up the delivery of packets? Has the TTL been considered? It seems there are only two logical solutions for the TTL issue, C4 (or other light plastic explosive) and detonator or a shotgun and ATV for TTL's under 30 seconds (with the C4 option being preferred). And as far as firewalling your fort, which option would be most effective to avoid both "pigeon in the middle" attacks and session hijacking (ie throwing a dead bird over the wall with a packet and C4 on it's leg)?
