adding to section 3.1 Session InitiationAn smtp opening message SHOULD contain the FQDN of the smtp-server and information that can identify the particular server. (for if there are more servers behind the FQDN)reasonIf something goes wrong with the DNS server than this will inform the SMTP-client were the DNS server connected him to.Reporting software and version information is not very useful for this.
