What happens when the TFTP client or server detects that the ethernet link which it is using is down? TFTP is an easy protocol to spoof. Is it recommended that the server/client terminate connection (gracefully or otherwise) immediately after the link failure is detected? Or should it wait for some time-out to happen before the connection is terminated.
