One more security consideration for IGMP can be that of a non-querier resetting the Last Query Member Timer. Non-querier refreshes LQMT everytime it hears a leave from a host, if some host intentionally keeps sending IGMP leaves then the non-querier keeps forwarding multicast data on that interface.
