Promiscuous sex includes things done outside of a loving relationship. The problem with defining this is defining what love itself is. It really means different things to different people. If you know in your heart that you're in a loving relationship with the person, it is not breaking edge.

WELL - straight edge actually origionated from the kids who would go to shows and before they went in they'd mark an x on their hand showing that they were underaged, or just weren't drinking. I have no idea where the sex part came into the picture, I just think it's dumb.

I'd say it depends, if you are in a (monogamous) relationship and you really care bout that person then maybe its ok, a bit like sex really. But if you're giving it to just anyone i don't think it is. I too am not sure where the sex part came into sXe

i think if u are a true sXe you shud never involve yourself in any sexual activity, even kissing or masturbating. it is wrong and not on the edge at all. you shouldn't even LOOK at anyone that you might fancy. it is WRONG i tell you!!!!!!!

well to be honest, i am a XXX Christian, i mean edge not a porno star or anything like that... BUT sXe is ALSO a lifestyle dedicated to being able to go out and have a good time with your friends while at the same time, staying clean and healthy. the code say no smoking drinking or promiscuous sex, id say the only way you can be in a loving and caring relationship is through marriage, so if your not married, in my opinion, EVEN a hand job is bad, but i guess its just who you ask or how you in your opinion think of it
