20150050402 | SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVED RENDERING - Systems and methods for improved rendering of animal products may utilize a multi-step process including at least a heating step through use of a steam-jacketed tube system and a pressing step to squeeze out the oils. Grinding and pre-breaking may first be used to break the fat/whole animal into pieces. The ground material may then be transported and heated in one or more steam-jacketed tubes to create a slurry. A press may then be employed to press out the oil and water from the slurry. Residual solids may be removed from the oil and water through a decanting step. Water and extremely fine materials may then be removed from the oil through a centrifuge step, and the oil may be transferred to one or more storage tanks. Following the pressing step, the protein that remains may be subjected to high pressure to squeeze out any residual fat and then may be transferred to a hammer mill to prepare into a powdered protein or other desired protein material that may be stored for later use. | 02-19-2015 |

20110054569 | PRESCRIPTION PAD FOR TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATORY DISORDERS - Described herein are devices, including interface modules or prescription pads, and systems including these devices and methods of using them, for treating inflammation or inflammatory disorders, and particularly for interfacing with a user desiring to prescribe treatment of an inflammatory disorder using an implanted stimulator. | 03-03-2011 |
20130253413 | DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MODULATION OF BONE EROSION - Devices and methods for stimulation of the vagus nerve to modulate (e.g., reduce, suppress, etc.) bone erosion. Methods and apparatus for modulating bone erosion may modulate levels of Receptor Activator for Nuclear Factor κB Ligand (RANKL), and/or to modulate (increase, enhance, etc.) osteoprotegerin (OPG) and/or OPG/RANKL ratio. Devices may include electrical stimulation devices that may be implanted, and may be activated to apply current for a proscribed duration, followed by a period without stimulation. | 09-26-2013 |

20090185669 | System and method for karaoke style ringback tones and karaoke style ringtones - A system and method are described for permitting a telephone user to customize the identification of a call setup process. The telephone user is permitted to create a karaoke style recording by causing an underlying musical track to be mixed with the voice of the user. The karaoke style recording is stored for later use as a ringback tone and/or ringtone, as desired, to identify the call setup process. | 07-23-2009 |
20110165897 | ENHANCED DATA PUSH CAPABILITIES SYSTEM AND METHOD - An Enhanced Data Push Capabilities (EDPC) system and method are disclosed. A Data Push Gateway (DPG) controls connectivity instructions and delivery of data messages to EDPC enabled cellular handsets. Data content from data sources such as Instant Messaging (IM)1 Email, Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC), and Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSC) can be delivered to or accessed by cellular handsets without using any voice resources of the cellular network infrastructure, reducing network voice traffic and improving network efficiency. Only network data resources are used for session setup and delivery of data traffic. | 07-07-2011 |
20140134978 | Non-IMS Rich Communication Suite - This invention relates to telecommunications, and in particular, to a Rich Communication Suite (RCS) and RCS-e (“e” for enhanced) messaging infrastructure within a network without the need to deploy an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) core within the network. | 05-15-2014 |

20110287764 | HOME LOCATION REGISTER QUERY REDUCTION APPARATUS AND METHODS - Methods and apparatus for reducing the traffic volume associated with home location register queries used to determine a subscriber's location in a wireless telecommunications network or in an IP multimedia subsystem network. A query reduction mechanism (QRM) is in communication with a short message service center (SMSC) and with a home location register (HLR) to provide a destination location to send an incoming message. The SMSC sends a lookup query to the QRM and the QRM sends a location response back to the SMSC. The destination location and the message are then sent to the mobile switching center for transmission of the message to the destination mobile device. The QRM includes a route cache with location information, route caching logic, and a passive monitor to receive subscriber location updates. | 11-24-2011 |

20100197328 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERMITTING MAINTENANCE OF PRIVACY OF MAIN NUMBER ASSIGNED TO WIRELESS DEVICE - A wireless communications system is depicted in which a message can be delivered to a wireless device. In the communications system, a first number included within a true address for communication with the device is associated with the device. A second number distinct from the first number is also associated with the device. A communication is received that includes a phantom address, at least a portion of which includes the second number, and a message. The true address is derived by at least deriving the first number from the second number. The message can then be delivered to the device based upon the derived true address. | 08-05-2010 |
