20120004516 | SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SYNCHRONIZING DATA RECEIVED FROM MULTIPLE SENSOR MODULES IN A PATIENT MONITOR SYSTEM - A patient monitor system synchronizes patient data acquired by a plurality of sensor modules. Patient data from the sensor modules are synchronized by transmitting, from a patient monitor host, a start message that each newly connected sensor module uses to determine when to begin transmitting patient data to the patient monitor host. At a predetermined count interval, the patient monitor host also broadcasts an incrementing sequence count value to each of the connected sensor modules. The sensor modules use the sequence count values and the start message to determine when the patient monitor host expects each sensor module to transmit data packets. Each data packet sent by the sensor modules includes a sequence count value that the patient monitor host uses to align the various waveforms for display. | 01-05-2012 |

20140187614 | AMINO LIPIDS, THEIR SYNTHESIS AND USES THEREOF - The present invention provides new amino lipids and a convenient method for synthesising these compounds. These (cationic) amino lipids have good properties as transfection agents. The method is an economic versatile two step synthesis allowing the preparation of various amino lipids thus leading to the assembly of a combinatorial library of transfection agents. Moreover, the present invention provides lipid particles (liposomes) containing said amino lipids and their use for delivering bioactive agents into cells. The invention encompasses also the use of lipid particles containing the cationic amino lipids as medicament. | 07-03-2014 |

20100090610 | Control Method, Control Device and Method for Producing the Control Device - A pulsed electric operating current that rises during a pulse duration is generated for operating at least one radiation-emitting semiconductor component. For this purpose, in a method for producing a control device for operating the at least one radiation-emitting semiconductor component, a temporal profile of a thermal impedance representative of the at least one radiation-emitting semiconductor component is determined. A profile of the electric operating current that is to be set is determined depending on the determined temporal profile of the thermal impedance. The control device is furthermore designed such that the profile of the operating current that is to be set is set in each case during the pulse duration. | 04-15-2010 |
