20100237105 | Viscous Material Dispenser - A material dispenser for receiving a material container and for dispensing material from the container is disclosed. The material dispenser includes a frame having a body, depending handle and an elongate cradle that extend forward from the body for retaining a material container. The material dispenser includes a trigger actuated plunger mechanism that is operative to push a piston in the material container to dispense material from the container. The material container is held in the material dispenser by a rear receptacle, a distal receptacle and is supported by the cradle. The dispenser includes a no-drool actuator lever that is operatively positioned forward of the trigger so that the operator may activate the actuator lever with the same hand that is being used to hold the dispenser. When the actuator lever is activated it relieves pressure on the plunger to thereby stop material from oozing unintentionally from the container. | 09-23-2010 |
20100276090 | Partition Apparatus and System - An extendable rod has a head that captures a partition curtain and holds the curtain near a surface such as a ceiling or wall. The head has an outer surface (e.g., an upper surface when the head is abutting a ceiling) that has a deformable gripping surface. The lower surface of the head is metallic and relies upon magnetic force to capture the curtain in place on the head. In a first embodiment the lower surface has downwardly depending flanges on opposite ends. In another embodiment, the downwardly depending flanges form a three-sided seat for receiving a magnet. The curtain is draped over the upper surface of the head and is wrapped over the lower surface. A magnet or magnets are placed onto the lower surface, inward of the flange or seat, capturing the curtain and holding it in place on the head. The rod is then extended so that the upper surface of the head bears against the ceiling or other surface and such that there is no structure between the head and the ceiling except the curtain. The magnets hold the curtain securely in place, which allows for simple installation. | 11-04-2010 |

20130167527 | Exhaust Pulse Energy Divider - An exhaust gas turbocharger housing ( | 07-04-2013 |
20130199176 | EXHAUST GAS THROTTLE VALVE - A method for driving exhaust gas recirculation comprising the steps of restricting exhaust gas flow into the turbine inlet to create backpressure in the exhaust system under low engine operating conditions, and providing an unrestricted exhaust gas flow to the turbine under normal engine operating conditions. Restriction of exhaust gas flow is accomplished through the use of an exhaust gas throttle valve disposed upstream of the turbine inlet. The valves can be adjustable knife edge flap valves or D-shaped valves situated in each passageway of a divided exhaust manifold, which are closed to varying degrees to generate desired levels of backpressure while allowing exhaust gas to pass though open regions of the partially obstructed flow pathway to reach the engine turbocharger. This allows the turbine to continue to spin, while at the same time exhaust gas back pressure upstream of the turbocharger is used to drive exhaust gas recirculation. | 08-08-2013 |
20130227934 | AFTERTREATMENT BURNER AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM - A system and method for efficient regeneration of a diesel particulate filter used in the exhaust system of a diesel engine, is disclosed. In various systems, a burner is incorporated into the exhaust stream, and prior to the diesel particulate filter. Because the burner requires precise amounts of fuel and air to operate properly, an air flow delivery device, such as a positive displacement pump or blower is incorporated into the system to channel boost air to the burner. Alternatively, a bypass line may be used in conjunction with a pressure regulator, wherein the bypass line diverts the boost air from the pump or blower, while the pressure regulator controls the final pressure to the burner. | 09-05-2013 |
20140208743 | TURBOCHARGER OPERATION TO INCREASE BRAKE EFFECTIVENESS - In response to activation of a compression release brake when a motor vehicle having a turbocharged internal combustion engine is operating at some elevation above sea level and a turbocharger compressor is operating in a region of an operating map which is creating boost air in an engine intake manifold which would cause the compression release brake to decelerate the vehicle more slowly at that elevation than it would at sea level for the same operating conditions of the vehicle and engine other than altitude, the compression release brake decelerates the vehicle less slowly by causing an exhaust gas recirculation system to reduce at least one of a) mass of exhaust diverted to an intake system of the engine and b) cooling of the diverted exhaust. | 07-31-2014 |
20140216398 | TURBOCHARGER OPERATION TO INCREASE BRAKE EFFECTIVENESS - In response to activation of a compression release brake when a motor vehicle having a turbocharged internal combustion engine is operating at some elevation above sea level and a turbocharger compressor is operating in a region of an operating map which is creating boost air in an engine intake manifold which would cause the compression release brake to decelerate the vehicle more slowly at that elevation than it would at sea level for the same operating conditions of the vehicle and engine other than altitude, the compression release brake decelerates the vehicle less slowly by operating a valve mechanism to reduce flow through a charge air cooler and increase flow through a charge air cooler by-pass. | 08-07-2014 |

20130180508 | SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AN AMOUNT OF CONDENSATION IN AN ENGINE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM - A condensation collection system for an internal combustion engine having an exhaust gas recirculation system comprises a condensation collection line, a condensation accumulator, and a condensation expulsion line. The condensation collection line is disposed in fluid communication with an air intake system of an internal combustion engine. The condensation accumulator is in fluid communication with the condensation collection line. The condensation collection line being disposed between the air intake system and the condensation accumulator. The condensation expulsion line is in fluid communication with the condensation accumulator. A portion of the condensation expulsion line is disposed in contact with an engine exhaust pipe. The condensation expulsion line has an opening to vent condensation to the atmosphere. | 07-18-2013 |

20130306039 | Turbo Compressor By-Pass - A system is provided for boosting the pressure of air delivered to the intake manifold of an engine during a transient event. The system includes an air flow line that is configured to deliver air to an inlet of a low pressure compressor. The system also includes a high pressure compressor. The system further includes a bypass system having at least one bypass valve and a bypass line. The bypass system is configured to allow at least a portion of the air in the air flow line to bypass the low pressure compressor when the bypass valve is in an open position. The bypass valve may be actuated to an open position during transient events so as to increase the speed at which the pressure, and thus air flow mass, of air being supplied to an engine obtained desired levels. | 11-21-2013 |
20150083096 | TURBOCHARGER TURBINE BOOSTER - A method of operating the turbine booster to improve engine operating response and to increase the effectiveness of emission control devices is disclosed. A turbocharger turbine booster for a turbo charged internal combustion engine provides pressurized air to the turbocharger turbine and increases the oxygen in engine exhaust without increasing the engine combustion oxygen content. | 03-26-2015 |
