20110247285COVERING PANEL - A covering panel has a support plate, made from synthetic plastic material, with a flat and even top surface, a bottom face and pairs of opposite sides provided with complementary profile edges in the form of a male profile edge on one side and a female profile edge on the other, where said male profiled edge can be connected to a female edge of an equal adjacent covering panel, preferably according to a direction that runs perpendicular to said top surface. In their bottom face there are strip-shaped recesses that run according to the direction of extrusion and alternate with a number of support strips, of which at least a part has a width S along that bottom face that complies with 1.5 T10-13-2011

20090105788MINIMALLY INVASIVE NERVE MONITORING DEVICE AND METHOD - A device includes a mechanical sensor configured to monitor at least one muscle for a response to a stimulus, and an indicator configured to provide feedback to a user based on at least a portion of an output of the mechanical sensor.04-23-2009
20110230782NEURAL MONITORING SENSOR - A sensing device for detecting a muscle event includes a mechanical sensor, such as an accelerometer, that is configured to provide a signal corresponding to a mechanical movement of a muscle, a plurality of electrodes disposed on the sensing device; and a contact detection device coupled with the plurality of electrodes and configured to detect if the sensing device is in contact with a subject.09-22-2011
20110230783NEURAL EVENT DETECTION - A method of detecting an induced muscle response includes monitoring a mechanical parameter of a muscle; computing an amount of muscle jerk from the monitored parameter; comparing the computed muscle jerk to a jerk threshold; and identifying the occurrence of an induced muscle response if the computed muscle jerk exceeds the threshold.09-22-2011
20110237974NEURAL MONITORING SYSTEM - A system for detecting the presence of a nerve within a subject includes a stimulator configured to provide a stimulus to a portion of the subject, a sensing device configured to be placed in communication with a muscle of the subject and to generate an output signal corresponding to a monitored parameter of the muscle, the sensing device including a mechanical sensor configured to monitor a mechanical parameter of the muscle, and a receiver configured to receive the output signal from the sensing device and to determine if the output signal corresponds to the stimulus provided by the stimulator.09-29-2011

20090040670Diode Chain with a Guard-Band - The present invention provides an ESD protection device having at least one diode in a well of first conductivity type formed in a substrate of second conductivity type. The circuit further includes a guard band of the first conductivity surrounding at least a portion of the diode, thus forming an NPN transistor between diode cathode, the substrate and the guard-band.02-12-2009
20090045436LOCALIZED TRIGGER ESD PROTECTION DEVICE - The present invention provides an ESD device to reduce the total triggering current without increasing the overshoot voltage. This is achieved by localizing the triggering current, such that the local current density remains high enough to trigger the ESD device. This localized triggering provides a fast and efficient triggering of the ESD device.02-19-2009

20110069887ALGORITHM FOR DETECTING CONTOUR POINTS IN AN IMAGE - A method for detecting contour points of an object in an image obtained by a video camera comprising the steps of: (i) selecting a scan line of the image; (ii) identifying minimum intensity differences called transitions between pixels of the selected scan line; (iii) identifying plateaus at both ends of the identified transitions; (iv) determining contour points of the object between the identified plateaus; (v) generating a descriptor of the contour in one dimension; and (vi) beginning again with step (i) by selecting another scan line of the image according to a predefined order.03-24-2011

20100236851CONTROL OF A STARTER-ALTERNATOR DURING A HIGH-VOLTAGE BATTERY FAULT CONDITION - A method sustains auxiliary power generation aboard a mild hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) in response to a high-voltage (HV) electrical fault condition and executes one of a pair of default limp-home modes depending on the state of the engine at the time of the fault. Each limp-home mode sustains auxiliary power generation during the fault, and at least one mode charges capacitors in the HV bus circuit to provide magnetizing current to a motor generator unit (MGU). An HEV includes a controller and algorithm for sustaining auxiliary power generation during the above fault condition, with the algorithm adapted to control output of an auxiliary power module (APM) and execute one of a pair of default limp-home modes, including a mode in which the APM charges the capacitors to enable a power inverter module (PIM) to provide an initial excitation current to the MGU after the starter motor restarts the engine.09-23-2010
