20080213977Vacuum expansion of integrated circuits at sort - A frame and vacuum expansion chuck are used in combination for stretching a tape carrying a plurality of singulated devices to facilitate removal of the devices with reduced risk of contact between a device being removed from the tape and an adjacent device on the tape. The combination includes a frame for holding edges of a tape carrying a plurality of singulated devices, and a vacuum chuck having upper surfaces for contacting an underside of a tape carrying a plurality of singulated devices. The vacuum chuck extends along a perimeter circumscribing the singulated devices, and at least one groove is defined in the upper surface of the vacuum chuck. Conduit for providing fluid communication between the groove and a vacuum source are provided. Upon evacuation of the volume defined between the groove and the tape, the tape is drawn down into the groove and stretched, thereby increasing the separation or gap between adjacent dice and reducing the risk of damage upon removal of the dice.09-04-2008

20080216381Decoy and Method of Using Same - A decoy comprising: a base member; a hub having a groove along a longitudinal plane of the hub into which a quill end of at least one feather(s) is inserted; and a support operably coupled to the base and to the hub. A decoy, comprising: a distribution means for distributing a tail feather array having a groove along a longitudinal plane of the distribution means into which a quill end of at least one feather(s) is replaceably or permanently inserted; and a reciprocating deployment means for reciprocally deploying the distribution means in positions from about 90° to about 0° with respect to the ground. A method of attracting an adult male turkey, comprising: displaying a decoy characterized by a tail feather array, wherein the tail feathers of a central portion of the array are longer than the tail feathers in a remaining portion of the array.09-11-2008
20090107026Decoy and Method of Using Same - A decoy comprising: a base member; a hub having a groove along a longitudinal plane of the hub into which a quill end of at least one feather(s) is inserted; and a support operably coupled to the base and to the hub. A decoy, comprising: a distribution means for distributing a tail feather array having a groove along a longitudinal plane of the distribution means into which a quill end of at least one feather(s) is replaceably or permanently inserted; and a reciprocating deployment means for reciprocally deploying the distribution means in positions from about 90 degrees to about 0 degrees with respect to the ground. A method of attracting an adult male turkey, comprising: displaying a decoy characterized by a tail feather array, wherein the tail feathers of a central portion of the array are longer than the tail feathers in a remaining portion of the array.04-30-2009
20090235571APPARATUS FOR REVOLVING DECOYS ABOUT A VERTICAL AXIS - An apparatus comprises a motor, a traverse support beam, a first support rod, and a second support rod. The motor is operative to rotate an axle. The traverse support beam is rotationally coupled to this axle and has a first end and a second end. The first support rod is coupled to the first end of the traverse support beam and is adapted to support a first decoy. Finally, the second support rod is coupled to the second end of the traverse support beam and is adapted to support a second decoy.09-24-2009
20100064569Base for Providing Motion to Decoys - A base for providing motion to a decoy comprises a lower base portion, an upper base portion, and an elastic member. The upper base portion is pivotally attached to the lower base portion such that the upper base portion can pivot in relation to the lower base portion. The elastic member spans between the lower and upper base portions and is configured to elastically bias the upper base portion to pivot in a given direction in relation to the lower base portion.03-18-2010
20110097970Sound Generating Apparatus for Attracting Wild Game - An apparatus for generating sounds comprises a pair of end blocks, a pair of opposing sidewalls, an upper actuator, and a lower actuator. The pair of end blocks is disposed at opposite ends of the apparatus. The pair of opposing sidewalls, in turn, is attached to the pair of end blocks, and each of the pair of opposing sidewalls has a respective top edge and a respective bottom edge. The upper actuator pivotally mounts on one of the pair of end blocks such that pivoting the upper actuator causes it to scrape against the top edges of the pair of opposing sidewalls. Likewise, the lower actuator is pivotally mounted on one of the pair of end blocks such that pivoting the lower actuator causes it to scrape against the bottom edges of the pair of opposing sidewalls. The apparatus is operative to make sounds that mimic those produced by wild game such as wild turkeys.04-28-2011
20110131862Fishing Rod Attachment Apparatus - An apparatus for attaching a fishing rod to a user's person comprises an elongate base which defines a first end, a second end, and a center. A first pair of opposing sidewalls is attached to this elongate base proximate to its first end. In addition, a center sidewall is attached to the elongate base proximate to the base's center and separate from the first pair of opposing sidewalls. An attachment portion is also attached to the elongate base proximate to the center of the elongate base and comprises a clip operative to clasp a belt or a waistband. Lastly, a second pair of opposing sidewalls is attached to the elongate base proximate to its second end and separate from the center sidewall.06-09-2011
