20110194893CONTAINER FASTENING ASSEMBLY - A connection arrangement for connection of vertically and/or horizontally arranged containers. Each of the containers provides bosses or projections over a collinear pair of which is placed a separate plate. The plate provides matched polygonal apertures to receive the projections. Each of the projections provides an aperture there through to receive a retainer pin or bolt. The pin or bolt abuts the plate when engaged. The arrangement greatly expedites the separation of the containers when desired. The user needs only tap out the retainer pin and pull off the plate. This obviates the use of fasteners which can freeze, rust or become otherwise inoperative or cumbersome.08-11-2011

20110126792Stud Fasteners for Fastening a Cylinder Head to An Engine Block and Kit Containing Said Stud Fasteners - The present invention relates generally to fastening systems, and more specifically, to high tensile or high strength studs. The studs are adapted to be utilized in original manufacture or in the repair or retrofit of internal combustion engines. The improved stud technology can be utilized in the fabrication of new engine builds to improve reliability, extend product life, and the like. Likewise, the stud technology can be used to repair and/or upgrade a failed, compromised, or questionable cylinder head to engine block fastening system. Additionally, a repair or retrofit a kit can be assembled with the improved studs at its foundation. Optionally, any combination of additional items or components useful in the cylinder head to engine block fastener modification can be added to such a kit.06-02-2011

20090145249MODULAR SCANNER ASSEMBLY - A modular scanner assembly includes a probe holder support constructed from interconnected reconfigurable members. At least one of the interconnected reconfigurable members has a probe holder. The probe holder support has wheels attached to at least one interconnected reconfigurable member for moving the probe holder support across a surface to be scanned. At least one of the wheels is connected to a position encoder.06-11-2009
20100326220MODULAR SCANNER APPARATUS AND PROBE HOLDING APPARATUS FOR INSPECTION - There is provided a modular scanner and probe holding apparatus for inspection, which consists of an assembly of a plurality of connective links rigidly connected. The connective links are added or removed from the assembly to size the assembly so the assembly extends more than half way around a circumference of a tubular body to be inspected. At least one tail link is connected to an end of the assembly. The tail link is biased by a spring to apply a force against the tubular body to hold the assembly in place. A probe holder link is provided that connects to the connective links and has a probe holder for holding a probe.12-30-2010

20090188685Soil Spreading Scraper Device - A soil spreading scraper device comprises a cutting blade for cutting a top layer of soil from the ground, a kicker for throwing the cut soil rearward from the cutting blade, and an impeller member rotatable within a plane of rotation extending upward and rearward from the cutting blade for capturing the soil thrown by the kicker and spreading the cut soil generally radially outward relative to an axis of rotation of the impeller. A gearbox which receives power from a power takeoff of a towing vehicle directly drives the rotation of the impeller member in the preferred embodiment. The blades of the impeller members may include recessed portions adjacent the impeller axis in some embodiments to encourage soil being received in the impeller member even at higher rates of rotation, for example in the range of 250 to 320 RPM.07-30-2009

20080247838Stacked cargo securing device and method of use - A load securing device for stacked cargo comprises a body member having contact surfaces adapted to engage a side portion of a cargo item that is stacked on a pair of each of a pair of stacked cargo items. One end of a flexible member such as a strap is attached to the body member. The flexible member extends through a space created between the stacked items or the stacked items and a carrier surface, with its other end being secured to a carrier supporting the stacked items. Optimally, and when expecting forces to be applied to both sides of the stacked items, a load securing device is placed on either side of the stacked items so that forces arising during the transport of the stacked items are resisted in both directions.10-09-2008

20080197962MULTIPLE-PRIMARY HIGH FREQUENCY TRANSFORMER INVERTER - A transformer based inverter system comprises a transformer core, a secondary winding wound around the transformer core, a plurality of primary winding circuits each comprising a clockwise or counterclockwise winding wound around the transformer core and a switch operative to selectively open and close to allow current to flow through the winding. Each primary winding circuit is connected to terminals of a DC generator to drive current around the transformer core in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. A control system is operative to open and close the switches such that an input DC voltage from a generator is transformed and inverted into an AC voltage that has a frequency and voltage equal to a desired frequency and voltage, and such that as the input DC voltage varies within a range, the AC voltage at the terminal ends of the secondary winding remains substantially constant.08-21-2008
