20090275695 | PROCESS FOR PREPARING SILOXANE-BASED COMPOSITIONS AND DERIVATIVE COMPOSITIONS THEREOF - A process for forming a new group of siloxane-based compositions by a one-step co-hydrolysis and the compositions formed thereof. The siloxane-based compositions being functionalized with a carbon-carbon double (C═C) bond and a silicon-hydrogen (Si—H) bond. The C═C bond and hydrogen (H) each being attached directly to a silicon (Si) atom of the silicon-oxygen (Si—O) backbone of the siloxane-based composition. The C═C bond may be from a vinyl or an aromatic radical like a phenyl substituent. The C═C bond substituent provides the functionality needed for forming crosslinkages through standard dehydrocoupling catalysts without the need for siloxane fluids or organic compounds containing alkyl or aryl functional groups. The process provides for varying proportions of silanes as starting monomers to tailor the desired silicon, carbon, hydrogen and oxygen ratios in the siloxane-based compositions or resins. The siloxane-based compositions may be used as precursors or replacement resins in the fabrication of other materials. | 11-05-2009 |

20130286050 | CONTENT AUTO-FIT METHOD AND SYSTEM - In at least some examples, a method includes receiving, by a computing device, initial content to be rendered. The initial content includes a plurality of sections in a predetermined order. The method also includes applying auto-fit rules to the initial content, by the computing device, wherein the auto-fit rules include a prioritization for the plurality of sections and a layout space. If the initial content does not fit within the layout space, the method also includes updating content to be rendered, wherein the updated content omits at least one of the plurality of sections from the initial content based on the prioritization and maintains the predetermined order for non-omitted sections from the initial content. | 10-31-2013 |
20130287464 | DETERMINING THE PRINT PATH OF A PRINTING DEVICE - System and methods are disclosed for determining the print path of a printer to facilitate manual duplexing. The method includes instructing a printing device to print a first object on a first side of a test sheet and then instructing a user to reinsert the test sheet in the printing device. The printing device is then instructed to print a second object on the test sheet. The user can further provide information indicating a location of the second object with respect to the first object. Based on the information, the printing path of the printer is determined. | 10-31-2013 |

20110079960 | Multi-Piece Pressure Operated Rings for a Downhole Pump Plunger - A pressure responsive seal ring assembly includes a first and second arcuate-shaped ring segment configured for non-interlocking assembly onto a plunger body. A tab extends beyond a first end of each ring segment and is received by a recessed portion in the first end of the opposing ring segment. The tabs and recessed portions provide a gap in the outer peripheral surface of the assembled ring. A second tab extends beyond a second end of the second ring segment and is received by a recessed portion in the second end of the first ring segment. Pads provide an inter-space effective for allowing fluid flow between the interior peripheral surface and the plunger body. The ring segments expand radially outward with an increase in pressure to provide a seal and retract radially inward with a decrease in pressure. The ring segments, however, remain connected and resist fluid flow therebetween. | 04-07-2011 |

20100234518 | Branched Polyglycols And Branched Polyether Functional Organopolysiloxanes And Coatings Containing Same - Branched polyglycols and branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes are disclosed as is a process for making branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes by reacting an organohydrogensiloxane and a branched polyglycol having an unsaturated group via a hydrosilylation reaction, as well as coating compositions containing branched polyether functional organopolysiloxanes and a binder are disclosed. Coatings resulting from these compositions were more hydrophilic and had improved dirt release properties as compared to coatings containing similar, but un-branched, polyether functional organopolysiloxanes. | 09-16-2010 |
20100288167 | LOW DIOL CONTENT MONOFUNCTIONAL ALKOXYPOLYALKYLENE GLYCOLS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THEM - Provided is a process for preparing low diol content monofunctional polyalkylene glycols. The process includes introducing the initiator feed in two portions (a first and second initiator) and drying only the first initiator to remove water. The first and second initiators can be the same or different. Also provided are new monofunctional polyalkylene glycol compositions. | 11-18-2010 |
