20090268054ANALOG IMAGE SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT FOR CMOS IMAGE SENSOR - An image signal processing circuit for CMOS image sensor comprises a differential operational amplifier, input stage capacitors, and output stage capacitors. The input stage capacitors comprise a first positive input stage switching capacitor array and a first negative input stage switching capacitor array. The first positive input stage switching capacitor array is configured to input analog image signals, a control end of the first positive input stage switching capacitor array is connected to a color gain control signal end, and an output end of the first positive input stage switching capacitor array is coupled to a positive input end of the differential operational amplifier. The first negative input stage switching capacitor array is configured to input a reference level signal, a control end of the first negative input stage switching capacitor array is connected to the color gain control signal end, and an output end of the first negative input stage switching capacitor array is coupled to a negative input end of the differential operational amplifier. The output stage capacitors are connected between the output end and the input end of the differential operational amplifier. In the present invention, two or more control functions are implemented with a single circuit, therefore, with the imaging effects guaranteed, the circuit structure is simplified, the size of the CMOS image sensor chip is reduced, and thus the cost is reduced. The present invention meets the developing trend of product miniaturization.10-29-2009

20080206757METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DETECTING RARE CELLS FROM A BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE - The present invention provides methods and compositions for isolating and detecting rare cells from a biological sample containing other types of cells. In particular, the present invention includes a debulking step that uses a microfabricated filters for filtering fluid samples and the enriched rare cells can be used in a downstream process such as identifies, characterizes or even grown in culture or used in other ways. The invention also include a method of determining the aggressiveness of the tumor or of the number or proportion of cancer cells in the enriched sample by detecting the presence or amount of telomerase activity or telomerase nucleic acid or telomerase expression after enrichment of rare cells. This invention further provides an efficient and rapid method to specifically remove red blood cells as well as white blood cells from a biological sample containing at least one of each of red blood cells and white blood cells, resulting in the enrichment of rare target cells including circulating tumor cells (CTC), stromal cells, mesenchymal cells, endothelial cells, fetal cells, stem cells, non-hematopoietic cells etc from a blood sample. The method is based upon combination of immuno-microparticles (antibody coated microparticles) and density-based separation. The final enriched target cells can be subjected to a variety of analysis and manipulations, such as flowcytometry, PCR, immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, image analysis, enzymatic assays, gene expression profiling analysis, efficacy tests of therapeutics, culturing of enriched rare cells, and therapeutic use of enriched rare cells. In addition, depleted plasma protein and white blood cells can be optionally recovered, and subjected to other analysis such as inflammation studies, gene expression profiling, etc.08-28-2008

20100162677Embedded type system positioning spinning method - On each draft element of a ring spinning frame, two pieces of short-staple roving from the roving bobbin enter into the draft mechanism to be drafted though a guide funnel in parallel, two pieces of filament are fed from the back of the front roller, and combine with two pieces of roving at front jaw respectively. The drafted two pieces of roving and filament are output from the front jaw and enter into the twisting triangle area to be twisted, and then are wound onto a yarn bobbin to produce yarn. Based on the relative position of the two pieces of roving and two pieces of filament, different yarns can be produced. Furthermore, multi-component yarn, such as core structure, wrapped structure, strand-like structure, can be produced on a ring spinning frame. The structure of yarn can be precisely determined. Special fiber yarn can be produced on traditional spinning frame.07-01-2010

20090280029High Throughput Materials-Processing System - The present invention discloses a materials-processing system, which comprises an inputting subsystem, a processing apparatus coupled to the inputting subsystem and a collecting subsystem coupled to the processing apparatus. The inputting subsystem comprises three or more sample vessels, which can be connected to the processing apparatus. Since the processing system includes multiple sample vessels, which can be grouped into different groups so that each group contains two or more of the multiple sample vessels. High throughput materials transport can be realized by sequentially connecting different groups of sample vessels to the processing apparatus, thereby overcoming a limitation of the prior art that cannot continuously perform multiple batches of materials processing and improving material processing efficiency.11-12-2009
