20140261914 | METHOD OF PRODUCING HOT ROLLED HIGH STRENGTH DUAL PHASE STEELS USING ROOM TEMPERATURE WATER QUENCHING - A process for manufacturing hot rolled high strength dual phase steels. In some instances, hot rolled strip is continuously cooled to less than 100° C. prior to coiling using a cooling rate between 40-70° C./second. In other instances, hot rolled strip is cooled to less than 100° C. prior to coiling using a step cooling treatment. In yet other instances, hot rolled strip is continuously cooled to less than 100° C. prior to coiling using a cooling rate between 70-100° C./second. For hot rolled strip subjected to a cooling rate between 40-70° C./second, or subjected to the step cooling treatment, hot rolled steel sheet with a tensile strength greater than 590 MPa is produced. For hot rolled strip subjected to a cooling rate between 70-100° C./second, hot rolled steel sheet with a tensile strength greater than 690 MPa is produced. Also, the hot rolled steel sheet has a ferrite plus martensite microstructure free of pearlite and bainite. | 09-18-2014 |

20090222273 | Coding/Decoding of a Digital Audio Signal, in Celp Technique - The invention aims at constructing improved dictionaries of CELP excitation vectors for coding/decoding digital audio signals. Usually, each vector of dimension N comprises pulses capable of occupying N valid positions. The invention concerns the construction of dictionaries with particular structure by: providing a common sequence of pulses forming a base pattern; and assigning the base pattern to each excitation vector of the dictionary, based on one or more occurrences at one or more respective positions among said N valid positions. The invention also concerns a combination of dictionaries thus constructed with optionally standard multipulse dictionaries, by union or summation or cascading. | 09-03-2009 |

20130064151 | ADAPTIVE RECEIVE DIVERSITY DURING DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION IN MOBILE WIRELESS DEVICE - A mobile wireless device adapts receive diversity during discontinuous reception based on downlink signal quality, page indicators and page messages. When the downlink signal quality exceeds a pre-determined threshold, the mobile wireless device decodes a page indicator channel through an initial antenna, and otherwise, decodes a paging channel through the initial antenna without decoding the page indicator channel. The mobile wireless device switches to decoding the paging channel through an alternate antenna when a page indicator decodes as an erasure. When a paging message received through a single antenna decodes with an incorrect error checking code, the mobile wireless devices enables receive diversity through multiple antennas for subsequent decoding. The mobile wireless device switches between single antenna reception and multiple antenna reception based on tracking multiple consecutive error checking code failures and successes. | 03-14-2013 |
