20120217106 | HYDRAULIC DAMPER SPOOL VALVE - A hydraulic damper assembly includes a main body, a shaft assembly and a main piston operatively configured to define an upper portion and a lower portion within the main body. A hydraulic damper spool valve is adapted to provide a single path, variable hydraulic flow restriction between the upper portion and lower portion of the main body. The hydraulic damper spool valve is configured with an array of precisely shaped flow apertures that are proportionally opened and closed by a pair of valve spools in response to the pressure differential across the main piston. The damper's pressure-flow operating characteristic is simply and predictably dictated by the geometric configuration of the shaped flow apertures. The precisely defined open area of the shaped flow apertures provides a mathematically predictable hydraulic flow restriction that operates predominately in a turbulent regime resulting in insensitivity to hydraulic fluid viscosity and consequently temperature change. | 08-30-2012 |

20150303570 | LOOP ANTENNA FOR MOBILE HANDSET AND OTHER APPLICATIONS - There is disclosed an antenna system for mobile handsets and other devices. The antenna system comprises a dielectric substrate having first and second opposed surfaces, a conductive track on the substrate, and a separate, directly driven antenna to drive the parasitic loop antenna formed by the conductive track. Two grounding points are provided adjacent to each other on the first surface of the substrate, with the arms of the conductive track extending in generally opposite directions from the grounding points. The conductive tracks then extend towards an edge of the dielectric substrate, before passing to the second surface of the dielectric substrate and then passing across the second surface of the dielectric substrate following a path generally following the path taken on the first surface of the dielectric substrate. The conductive tracks then connect to respective sides of a conductive arrangement formed on the second surface of the dielectric substrate that extends into a central part of a loop formed by the conductive track on the second surface of the dielectric substrate. | 10-22-2015 |

20140196488 | WATER HARVESTING DEVICE - An apparatus extracts water from the air using a single circuit of gas containing a compressor, a cooling element, a heat exchanger and an ion source, where a single stream of air is used to provide water and to pre-cool the inlet air. | 07-17-2014 |
20150210563 | WATER PURIFICATION BY BATCH CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS - A water purifier includes a first crystallization chamber and a second crystallization chamber that each receives a supply of input water; wherein each of the first and second crystallization chambers is a freeze/thaw chamber in which water is alternately frozen and thawed. A refrigerant circuit alternately supplies cold refrigerant to freeze the input water in one of the crystallization chambers, and supplies heated refrigerant to the other of the crystallization chambers to thaw the purified water. The first and second crystallization chambers operate concurrently and out-of-phase whereby heat recovered from freezing in one of the crystallization chambers is transferred by the refrigerant circuit for use in thawing in the other of the crystallization chambers. The refrigerant circuit includes a desuperheater that at least partially condenses heated refrigerant such that waste heat of compression generated by the desuperheater is rejected into wastewater via contraflow heat exchange with the heated refrigerant. | 07-30-2015 |

20090194963 | Vehicle Suspension Assembly with Unique Geometry - A suspension system for supporting an axle and connected to a vehicle frame, including a pair of transversely spaced frame brackets mounted on and depending from the vehicle frame. Each of the frame brackets having one or more mounting points spaced along its perimeter for mounting of suspension components, such as shock absorbers, and having a protruding air spring attachment plate that extends inboard toward the center of the vehicle frame. The suspension system also includes a first pair of air springs, the upper portions of which are mounted to the air spring attachment plates of the frame brackets. The lower portions of the air springs are mounted to suspension arm. The suspension system includes a second pair of air springs that are longitudinally separated from the first pair of air springs and that are connected to the suspension arm assemblies and to the frame. A pair of shock absorbers is connected at their lowest point to the suspension arm assemblies and at their highest point to a mounting point on the frame brackets. The suspension arm assemblies are coupled to and support the axle. The suspension system also includes a torque box coupled to the vehicle frame and the axle. | 08-06-2009 |
