20090137918 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF BOVINE DISEASES USING AUSCULTATION ANALYSIS - A system and method are provided for diagnosis of bovine respiratory diseases using auscultation techniques wherein the acoustic characteristics of a recorded spectrogram is compared with existing data enabling a caregiver to make a diagnosis for a diseased animal. Lung sounds are obtained by use of an electronic stethoscope, and the sounds are stored as digital data. Signal conditioning is used to place the data in a desired format and to remove undesirable noise associated with the recorded sounds. An algorithm is applied to data, and lung scores are calculated. The lung scores are then categorized into various levels of perceived pathology/disease within the animal based upon baseline data that categorizes the lung scores. From the lung scores, a caregiver may then associate a diagnosis, prognosis, and a recommended treatment. Analysis software in the present invention generates the lung scores from the recorded sounds, and may also provide the user a visual display of presumptive diagnoses as well as recommended treatments. | 05-28-2009 |
20120215077 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF BOVINE DISEASES USING AUSCULTATION ANALYSIS - A system and method are provided for diagnosis of animal respiratory diseases using auscultation techniques. Animal lung sounds are recorded and digitized. Lung sounds are obtained by an electronic digital stethoscope or a wireless audio digital recording unit. The sounds are stored as digital data, and one or more algorithms are applied to the data for producing an output to the user indicative of the health of the animal. The acoustic characteristics of the sound are compared with baseline data in the algorithms. One embodiment includes a digital stethoscope with an integral display. Another embodiment provides a system for gathering information about an animal to include not only auscultation data, but also information from other field devices such as temperature probes or weigh scales. The combined information can be analyzed by system software to generate detailed information to a user to include a diagnosis and recommended treatment options. | 08-23-2012 |
20130150744 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING ANTIBIOTIC EFFECTIVENESS IN RESPIRATORY DISEASED ANIMALS USING AUSCULATION ANALYSIS - A system and method are provided for diagnosis of animal respiratory diseases using auscultation techniques. Animal lung sounds are recorded and stored as digitized data. Algorithms are applied to the data producing an output indicative of the health of the animal. Another method determines effectiveness of antibiotics administered to animals based upon observed relationships between lung score categories obtained from auscultation. A comparison is made between sample populations of animals that receive different classifications of antibiotics, and this data is compared to lung score categories observed for each of the animals that received the antibiotics. A statistical analysis is conducted to confirm statistical differences in case fatality rates between lung score categories. Insignificant differences in mortality rates across a range of lung score categories indicates the particular antibiotic administered is not effective, whereas a reduced fatality rate associated with lower lung scores indicates a level of antibiotic effectiveness. | 06-13-2013 |

The first support is configured to permit selectable movement of the armrest. The second support is configured to permit selectable movement of the control grip. The armrest and the control grip are independently movable from each other. The first support and the second support are configured to receive a common fastener to secure the first support and the second support to a surface of the work vehicle. | 08-16-2012 |
20120205072 | HVAC SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE - An HVAC system for a work vehicle having an operator cab includes a first chamber having an for receiving airflow exterior of the cab. The inlet is adjacent to a first source for moving air for use independent of the HVAC system, the inlet arranged to cause a first change of direction of airflow inside the first chamber. The first chamber resulting in both a first air pressure reduction and a first reduction of airflow velocity while inside the first chamber sufficient to reduce an amount of particles entrained in the airflow while the particles are within the first chamber. A second chamber in fluid communication with the first chamber and configured to cause both a second change of direction and a third change of direction of airflow while inside of the second chamber prior to reaching a third chamber for mixing air flow with recirculated air from the cab. | 08-16-2012 |
20120205945 | SELF-CLEANING CAB FLOOR - A self-cleaning floor for use with a work vehicle includes a layer of material providing the floor for a cab of the work vehicle. The layer includes features formed in a region to frictionally secure operator footing during operator egress/ingress and operation of the work vehicle. A recess is formed along one end of the layer, the recess substantially aligned with a primary direction of movement of the work vehicle. An opening is formed in the work vehicle in substantial alignment with the recess to facilitate removal of debris from the cab floor and exterior of the work vehicle via the recess and the opening during operation of the work vehicle. Change in speed and/or direction of the work vehicle urges debris on the cab floor toward the recess. | 08-16-2012 |
20120205946 | HVAC SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE - An HVAC system for a cab of a work vehicle includes features to urge airflow within the cab between an inlet and a plurality of outlets. The circulating airflow removes a non-transparent layer of a phase of evaporable matter forming on a surface of viewing regions without a heating component at least partially covering or embedded in at least one of the viewing regions. | 08-16-2012 |
20120208446 | HVAC SYSTEM FOR A WORK VEHICLE - An HVAC system for a work vehicle having an operator cab including a system positioned substantially within the cab behind and below an operator's chair. A portion of the system has at least one inlet, and a plurality of outlets positioned in front of the operator's chair. The system includes a filter configured to be easily maintained in its substantially horizontal position during removal so that debris retained on the upper surface of the filter does not fall into a portion of the HVAC system or the cab when the filter is removed therefrom. | 08-16-2012 |
20130192026 | DOOR ESCAPE - A door escape includes a hinge member securable to a door pivotably movable between an open position and a closed position relative to an enclosure. A first securing device secures the hinge member to the door. The first securing device is manually removable from the hinge member from exterior of the enclosure, permitting removal of the door from the enclosure. A second securing device secures the hinge member to the door. The second securing device is manually removable from the hinge member from interior of the enclosure, permitting removal of the door from the enclosure. | 08-01-2013 |
20140105713 | BOOM LOCK SYSTEM FOR WORK MACHINE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD - A work vehicle includes a frame including generally upwardly extending laterally spaced side members. A boom structure includes a pair of arms pivotably connecting the boom structure to the frame. A pressurized fluid system is operably associated with the boom structure for raising and lowering jointly each of the arms along a path of travel adjacent a corresponding side member. A stop member selectably extends outwardly from at least one of the side members between a locking position and a retracted position, the locking position extending at least a portion of the stop member into the path of travel of a corresponding arm of the boom structure to prevent a lowering movement of the boom structure beyond a predetermined height. A boom lock system prevents the fluid system from applying a fluid force to lower the boom structure when the stop member is in the locking position. | 04-17-2014 |
