20150139506 | CLIENT SIDE FILTERING OF CARD OCR IMAGES - The technology of the present disclosure includes computer-implemented methods, computer program products, and systems to filter images before transmitting to a system for optical character recognition (“OCR”). A user computing device obtains a first image of the card from the digital scan of a physical card and analyzes features of the first image, the analysis being sufficient to determine if the first image is likely to be usable by an OCR algorithm. If the user computing device determines that the first image is likely to be usable, then the first image is transmitted to an OCR system associated with the OCR algorithm. Upon a determination that the first image is unlikely to be usable, a second image of the card from the digital scan of the physical card is analyzed. The optical character recognition system performs an optical character recognition algorithm on the filtered card. | 05-21-2015 |

20160132875 | ENHANCEMENT OF MOBILE DEVICE INITIATED TRANSACTIONS - An account management system receives a payment authorization request from a merchant system for a transaction involving a user. The account management system identifies one or more user accounts associated with the transaction and processes the transaction after sending a payment authorization request to the issuer(s) of the user's financial account(s) and receiving an approval. After receiving a payment request, or shortly thereafter, the user device logs additional transaction data to transmit to the account management system, which uses the data to find a single transaction that correlates with financial transaction data. The account management system creates an enhanced receipt to transmit to the user device by augmenting the financial transaction data and may adjust the merchant information based on location data received from the user device or the payment amount based on an identified merchant type. The account management system updates the enhanced receipt if new information is received. | 05-12-2016 |

20160047288 | REDUCTANT INJECTION IN AN EXHAUST SYSTEM - An engine exhaust system comprising an exhaust pipe routing an exhaust flow through a bend, and being in fluid communication with a catalyst downstream of the bend. An injector mounted to the exterior of the exhaust pipe, the injector with a tip disposed within the exhaust pipe at the bend, for injecting liquid reductant into the exhaust pipe. A shield member mounted in the exhaust pipe, the shield member comprising a generally tubular or frustoconical structure having proximal and distal end, the proximal end being disposed such that the injection tip is inside the shield member, the distal end being disposed towards a centerline of the exhaust pipe. A vane mounted in relation to the shield member, the vane being arranged to direct a proportion of exhaust flow from upstream of the bend in a substantially arcuate path into the proximal end of the shield member. | 02-18-2016 |

20150224655 | Hair Trimming Device - A device for trimming the distal ends of hair drawn therethrough is provided which has a head portion having a handle portion extending therefrom. Drawing hair strands along a serpentine pathway formed between a positioning member and a recess in the head, causes distal ends thereof to momentarily project through an opening and into a cutting cavity where they are cut only when a flexible paddle urges the projecting distal ends into a cutting component. The length of the distal ends cut may be adjusted by engagement of variable sized interchangeable cutting components. | 08-13-2015 |
