20160075799 | A METHOD FOR PRODUCING ACTIVATED SUGAR CHAIN DERIVATIVE AND ACTIVATED SUGAR CHAIN DERIVATIVE PRODUCED THEREFROM - When manufacturing a sugar chain compound having an activating group, there was a problem with the ammonium carbonate method that is the conventional technology that during the process of introducing an amino group at the reducing terminal of the sugar chain, the unit sugar located at the reducing terminal of the sugar chain is subjected to ring-opening, thus causing a mixture of α and β anomers to be produced. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a sugar chain compound having an activating group with high β selectivity using a compound having a sugar chain asparagine structure as the source material by cleaving the sugar chain from the sugar chain peptide so that the reducing terminal of the sugar chain and the nitrogen atom derived from the asparagine side chain will remain in a bound state, and introducing an activating group to said nitrogen atom while retaining not only the covalent bond between the reducing terminal of said sugar chain and said nitrogen atom but also the β configuration. A novel sugar chain compound which is a β anomer and has an activating group is also provided as a compound of the present invention. | 03-17-2016 |

The developing roller is driven into rotation in the developing housing and carries a toner on a circumferential surface thereof. The toner is conveyed inside the first conveyance path and the second conveyance path of the developing housing in a circulating manner. A first stirring screw is disposed on the first conveyance path and conveys the toner in a first direction. Downstream of the toner refill port, a magnet is arranged. The magnetic member forms a magnetic blush from a top panel of the developing housing towards the first stirring screw. A refill toner flowed-in through the toner refill port is so conveyed as to fall below the magnetic blush whereby the refill toner is favorably stirred with a surrounding toner. | 08-21-2014 |
20150104216 | DEVELOPMENT DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS - A development device includes a development case, a first agitating/conveying member and a second agitating/conveying member. The first agitating/conveying member is arranged below the second agitating/conveying member to convey the developer in a first direction. The second agitating/conveying member conveys the developer in a second direction as an opposite direction to the first direction to supply the developer to the developer carrier. The development case includes a first conveyance chamber, a second conveyance chamber, a first communicating portion communicating end parts of the first conveyance chamber and second conveyance chamber in the first direction, and a second communicating portion communicating end parts of the first conveyance chamber and second conveyance chamber in the second direction. The developer carrier has a first ferromagnetic area having magnetic force stronger than another area of the developer carrier, in which the first ferromagnetic area corresponds to the first communicating portion. | 04-16-2015 |
20150248089 | FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS - A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a pressing member and a sheet member. The fixing belt is arranged rotatably and configured to extend along an axis direction. The pressuring member is arranged rotatably and configured to come into pressure contact with the fixing belt so as to form a fixing nip. The pressing member is configured to press the fixing belt to a side of the pressuring member and configured such that the fixing belt is interposed between the pressing member and the pressuring member. The sheet member is formed in a tubular shape and provided around the pressing member and configured to rotate with rotation of the fixing belt. | 09-03-2015 |

20120020688 | DEVELOPING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING UNIT AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS PROVIDED WITH THE SAME - A developing device includes an applying portion for applying a bias at a first voltage value and a first frequency, to a toner bearing member during a development period in which toner particles are supplied to an image bearing member. A controller executes a removal control to remove attached matter adhering to a bearing surface of the toner bearing member during a non-development period. Upon executing the removal control, the controller first causes residual toner particles to separate from the bearing surface. Subsequently, the controller controls the applying portion to cause a second bias at a second voltage value higher than the first voltage value or at a second frequency higher than the first frequency to be applied to the toner bearing member while bringing a developer layer on a developer bearing member into contact with the bearing surface. | 01-26-2012 |
20140205324 | DEVELOPING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS WITH DEVELOPING DEVICE - A developing device includes a housing containing a developer, a developer carrier, a developer conveying path, a developer conveying member, and a plurality of paddle members. The developer conveying path includes a first conveying path and a second conveying path. The developer conveying member is disposed in the second conveying path and includes a rotating shaft and spiral blades formed around the rotating shaft. The developer conveying member is rotationally driven to convey the developer in the second direction and feeds the developer to the developer carrier. The plurality of paddle members project in a radial direction from the rotating shaft of the developer conveying member at one circumferential position on the rotating shaft. The plurality of paddle members is contiguously arranged in the axial direction of the rotating shaft to connect the spiral blades adjacent to each other in the axial direction. | 07-24-2014 |
20150346661 | FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS - A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a heat source and a reflecting member. The fixing belt is arranged rotatably around a rotation axis. The reflecting member reflects the radiant heat radiated from the heat source. The fixing belt has a passing region and a non-passing region. Through the passing region, a recording medium passes. The non-passing region is arranged outside the passing region in a direction of the rotation axis. The reflecting member has a first reflecting part and a second reflecting part. The first reflecting part is arranged at an inner circumferential side of the passing region. The second reflecting part is arranged at an inner circumferential side of the non-passing region. Roughness of a face at the heat source side of the second reflecting part is larger than roughness of a face at the heat source side of the first reflecting part. | 12-03-2015 |
20150346663 | FIXING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS - A fixing device includes a fixing belt, a pressuring member, a pressing member and a temperature sensor. The fixing belt is arranged rotatably. The pressuring member is arranged rotatably and configured to come into pressure contact with the fixing belt so as to form a fixing nip. The pressing member is configured to press the fixing belt to the pressuring member side. The temperature sensor is inserted into the pressing member. The pressing member has a through hole penetrating from a face at the fixing nip side to an insertion part of the temperature sensor. | 12-03-2015 |
