| 20100084471 | DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING IMAGE DATA REPRESENTING BAR CODES - A device for processing image data relating to bar codes is described. In one embodiment a bar code verification device is provided having an ergonomic form factor characterized by a domed hand held trigger and a viewing window. The verification device may be disposed in a network that includes a host processor system and other bar code reading devices which may include other bar code verification devices. Processing circuitry for processing image signals corresponding to printed bar codes may be partially disposed within the hand held verification device and partially disposed within a host processor system spaced apart from and associated with the hand held verification device. The hand held verification device may be in wireless communication with the host processor system to which it is associated. The bar code verification system may include signal enhancement modules which interpolate constructed pixel values from actual pixel values and which correct for signal degradation resulting from high frequency spatial sampling. | 04-08-2010 |

| 20120091918 | PICTURE SELECTION METHOD FOR MODULAR LIGHTING SYSTEM - It is disclosed a method for associating pixels of visual content displayed on a display unit with pixels of lighting modules, where each lighting module comprises a plurality of pixels, and the lighting modules are adapted to be comprised in a lighting system comprising a plurality of lighting modules and a control device, wherein the control device is adapted to communicate control signals to the lighting modules. Each of the lighting modules may communicate control signals with neighboring lighting modules, and to any of the pixels of the lighting module. Pixels of the visual content may be selected by means of a visual representation of pixels associated with the lighting modules displayed onto the display unit, wherein each pixel of the visual representation corresponds to a pixel of the lighting modules. Pixel values of the visual content may be associated with respective pixels of the visual representation on the basis of positions of pixels of the visual representation relatively to positions of pixels of the visual representation, and pixel values of the visual content. By communicating controls signals, for each pixel of the visual representation associated with a pixel value, corresponding to the pixel value to the pixel of the lighting module that corresponds to the pixel of the visual representation associated with a pixel value, a user may in principle view a result of the pixel association on the lighting modules in real-time. It is further disclosed a system adapted to perform the method. | 04-19-2012 |

| 20120153850 | METHOD FOR DATA PATH CREATION IN A MODULAR LIGHTING SYSTEM - It is disclosed a method for operating a lighting system, which lighting system comprises a plurality of lighting modules, each of which comprises at least one communication unit, via which the respective lighting module is adapted to communicate with at least one neighboring lighting module. A control device may be adapted to communicate control signals to at least one of the lighting modules and each of the lighting modules may be adapted to further communicate control signals communicated to the lighting module to a neighboring lighting module. The method comprises assigning a communication unit of each of a plurality of lighting modules to be an active communication unit associated with a minimum control signal path length value with respect to all of the communication units of the lighting module, as measured from the control device to the communication unit, whereby optimal control signal data paths, each data path being adapted to communicate control signals from the control device to a lighting module, may be formed. It is further disclosed a lighting system adapted to perform the method. | 06-21-2012 |
