20110120980 | System and Method for Aerodynamic Flow Control - A vortex generator system comprises one or more plasma streamwise vortex generators (PSVGs) or plasma wedge vortex generators (PWVGs). The PSVGs and PWVGs each comprises a first electrode and a second electrode separated by a dielectric layer. The first electrode extends in a longitudinal direction. The PSVGs and PWVGs can be installed on a surface arranged to receive airflow in a certain flow direction. The PSVGs have a rectangular first electrode is exposed and extends at least somewhat parallel to the expected flow direction, whereas the first electrode of the PWVGs is more triangular in shape. When an AC voltage is applied to the first and second electrodes, a plasma forms along edges of the first electrode. The plasma imposes a body force in a cross-flow direction, which induces a cross-flow velocity that, in combination with the mean flow, produces streamwise-oriented counter-rotating vortices. | 05-26-2011 |

20150200702 | PASSIVE FEEDBACK PATH FOR PRE-DISTORTION IN POWER AMPLIFIERS - Embodiments of the present disclosure describe apparatuses, methods, and systems of front end module (FEM) having a feedback path that includes a passive attenuation network. The passive attenuation network may provide a feedback signal to a receive output port of the FEM that may be used as a basis for predistortion. Other embodiments may also be described and/or claimed. | 07-16-2015 |

20140214642 | System and Method for Determining Payment Card Benefits - A system and method for determining payment card benefits (e.g., rental car insurance, roadside assistance, extended warranty on purchases, price protection, emergency travel assistance, no foreign transaction fees, hotel and airline upgrades, and the like). The system comprises an electronic storage device having a database of payment card benefit information stored therein; an access path for allowing access to the payment card benefit information; and a processor for assembling the payment card benefit information in the database, and for providing the assembled payment card benefit information to a cardholder that has been granted access to the database. The present disclosure also relates to a system and method for determining geographic location of a call center associated with payment card benefits. | 07-31-2014 |
