SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADDING AN ADVERTISEMENT TO A PERSONAL COMMUNICATION - A system and method is provided for adding an advertisement to a digital message and providing additional communication data to a recipient that interacts with the advertisement regardless of the network device the recipient is utilizing. An advertisement generator residing on a network host accepts digital messages from contributors and allows the contributors to select an advertisement to be displayed with their contributed messages. These digital messages may be sent to specified recipients or published on a Web site. Using stored personal data associated with the contributor and with the recipient of a digital message, in addition to the content of the message itself, the advertisement generator suggests advertisements to be included with the digital messages based on their contextual relevance. In exchange for including an advertisement with a digital message, a contributor is compensated. If the contributor-selected advertisement is provided by a third party advertiser, the message, contributor, and advertisement data is utilized to compensate the contributor of that message for sending it to at least one recipient or posting it on a Web site. If the advertisement is interactive, and the advertisement is interacted with, the advertisement generator will provide the recipient with additional communication data in a format that can be understood by the recipient network device. | 01-29-2009

METHOD FOR PASSIVATING A SILICON SURFACE - A method of passivating a silicon surface is disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes cleaning the silicon surface by subjecting the silicon surface to a sequence of steps wherein the final step is a chemical oxidation step resulting in a hydrophilic silicon surface. The method may also include drying the cleaned silicon surface using an advanced drying technique, and/or depositing an oxide layer on the silicon surface. | 12-22-2011

Real Time Peer to Peer Network - A method of managing data transmission in a mesh-topology ad-hoc network. The method includes transmitting management information by a plurality of mobile stations of the network, selecting a mobile station to serve as a master, responsive to the transmitted management information, transmitting to the master requests for bandwidth, allocating bandwidth by the master, responsive to the requests and forwarding the bandwidth allocation to the mobile stations of the network. | 10-30-2008
METHOD AND A SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING THE SPATIAL LOCATION OF NODES IN A WIRELESS NETWORK - A method determines the propagation delays between nodes in a network, the network including a plurality of nodes. The method includes recording by each one of the nodes the transmission time of a beacon-signal respective of the one of the nodes and the reception times of other beacon-signals respective of other nodes. The beacon signal and the other beacon signals are transmitted according to a forward transmission sequence, a reverse transmission sequence is determined according to the forward transmission sequence. The procedure of recording for beacon signals is repeated and transmitted according to the reverse transmission sequence, and a propagation delay is determined between each pair of communicating nodes according to a forward propagation delay and a reverses propagation delay respective of the each of pair of communicating nodes. The forward propagation delay and the reverse propagation delay are determined according to the recorded times of transmissions and receptions of the beacon signals by the respective nodes. The pair of communicating nodes are defined as a pair of nodes that can receive transmissions of each other, and the time difference between transmissions of beacon signals respective of two nodes, during the forward transmission sequence, is substantially the same as the time difference between transmissions of the beacon signals respective of the two nodes, during the reverse transmission sequence. | 01-29-2009
Assisting Passengers to Sleep While Sitting - A method and an apparatus for helping a user rest and sleep while in an upright sitting position on a seat by providing vertical and horizontal support to the user's upper body and head. The method consists of providing a seat add-on and fitting an adjustable vest that can cling to the seat add-on at varying heights and relieve the load on the lower part of the spine, putting some of it on the armpits and some on the back ribs, and of providing a head support cushion that enables the neck to relax while sustaining the head and neck in a vertical position. The seat add-on, the vest and the cushion in combination continuously support the seated user's upper body and head vertically and horizontally, to assist the user to rest and sleep in the vertical sitting position. | 06-18-2009

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND TRANSMITTING SPEECH MESSAGES DURING VOICE CALLS OVER COMMUNICATION NETWORKS - A system and method for producing and transmitting speech messages during voice calls over communication networks is introduced. The system and method for producing and transmitting speech messages during voice calls over communication networks include an advertisement server connected to a communication network. A user uses a calling device to call the advertisement server and record advertisement in his specific voice or voice samples off which an advertisement synthesizer can generate advertisements in the user's specific voice. These advertisements are later played during voice calls between a calling device and a destination device. A billing system is used to log and bill advertisers for the advertisements played. | 07-05-2012
