20100130195 | TEST APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TESTING INTEROPERABILITY OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICES - A test apparatus and method are provided for testing interoperability of a first device to communicate with a second device via wireless communication. The test apparatus includes a wireless interface configured to interface via wireless communication with devices. The test apparatus also includes a processor, memory and logic stored in memory and executed by the processor. The logic causes the test apparatus to sequence through a plurality of wireless communication actions to communicate with a first device, monitor behavior of the first device during the actions, and store characteristics of the monitored behavior in memory so that the test apparatus may be used to emulate the first device when wirelessly communicating with a second device. | 05-27-2010 |
20100211708 | WIRELESS STREAMED DATA TO USB CONVERTER AND METHOD - A converter and method for converting wirelessly streamed data to USB compatible data is provided. The converter includes a USB connector for interfacing with a first electronic device that is USB ready to provide USB compatible data, such as file and directory data structure. The converter also includes a wireless communication link that is adapted to receive wirelessly streamed data from a second electronic device. The converter further includes control circuitry for processing the wirelessly streamed data and converting the streamed data to USB compatible data that is compatible with the USB ready first electronic device such that the streamed data from the second electronic device may be used by the first electronic device. | 08-19-2010 |

20140104395 | Methods of and Systems for Three-Dimensional Digital Impression and Visualization of Objects Through an Elastomer - Methods of and systems for three-dimensional digital impression and visualization of objects through an elastomer are disclosed. A method of estimating optical correction parameters for an imaging system include pressing an object of known surface topography against an elastomer and imaging a plurality of views of the surface topography of the object through the elastomer. The method also includes estimating a three-dimensional model of the object based on the plurality of views and estimating optical correction parameters based on a known surface topography of the object and the estimated three-dimensional model. The optical correction parameters correct distortions in the estimated three-dimensional model to better match the known surface topography. | 04-17-2014 |
20140253717 | CONTINUOUS CONTACT-BASED THREE-DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT - Continuous measurement of surfaces larger than a sensor is facilitated by the use of a sensor matrix of a clear elastomer and a reflective surface that scrolls, rolls, or otherwise moves over a target surface. A variety of web materials, camera configurations, and handling systems are described to achieve continuous three-dimensional measurement in this context. | 09-11-2014 |

20120039749 | PRESSURIZED GAS PURGE SEAL FOR COMBUSTION FURNACE - An analytical combustion furnace has an input port for receiving a holder for an analytical sample. A purge block is coupled to the input port of the combustion furnace and has an input end for receiving the holder and a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A door selectively closes the input end of the purge block, and a pressurized seal is coupled between the purge block and the door. A source of purging gas is coupled to the gas inlet of the purge block for pressurizing the seal. The gas outlet of the purge block communicates with the seal to allow purging gas to escape the area of the seal. In one embodiment, a pressurized seal surrounds a push rod, which seal is pressurized by a purging gas to continuously purge the entry of the push rod into the purge block, thereby eliminating atmospheric contamination. | 02-16-2012 |
