20120205134CABLE-RACEWAYS - A cable-raceway providing electromagnetic shielding has rectangular channels defined by longitudinal-folds of a tape which comprises mesh having a warp of bare wires running lengthwise and a weft of a single, bare-wire. Metal brackets support it with the base of each bracket extending transversely under the raceway. The channels nest between arms upstanding from the base, and a plastic insert fits over the tape to enhance electrical contact between the mesh and bracket for electrical ground-bonding of the raceway. The insert provides teeth down the walls of each channel for engagement by cable-retainers to push them down into the channels for retaining underlying cables. Further support in the channels is provided by plastic straps that extend under the raceway and to which the channels are secured using inserts and cable-retainers corresponding to the inserts and retainers. One face of the mesh is covered by an electrically-insulating sheet.08-16-2012

20090207726SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR NETWORK RECOVERY FROM MULTIPLE LINK FAILURES - Methods and systems for fast and reliable network recovery from multiple link failures. In accordance with one example of the method, a master node receives a request from a transit node having a blocked port to open the blocked port for data forwarding, wherein the blocked port is associated with a restored link. The master node starts a health-check timer and transmits a health-check message on its primary port to determine that all failed links of the network are restored. Upon determining that the health-check message is received at its secondary port, the master node transmits a message to each transit node indicating that all failed links are restored. Upon determining that the health-check message is not received at its secondary port before the health-check timer lapsed, the master node transmits a message to the transit node to open the blocked port associated with the restored link for data forwarding.08-20-2009

20100315487MEDICAL IMAGING METHOD IN WHICH VIEWS CORRESPONDING TO 3D IMAGES ARE SUPERIMPOSED OVER 2D IMAGES - A method using an imaging device to define an acquisition geometry for 2D images of an observation region, a region for which there exists a 3D representation. 2D views of the 3D representation can be determined following the acquisition geometry of the imaging device for a plurality of viewing points, so that each acquired 2D image can be superimposed with any of this plurality of views. As a variant, in the 3D representation two views are determined corresponding to the viewing point at which the eye is positioned at the formation plane of the acquired image (front view and corresponds to the 2D image) and to the viewing point at which the eye is positioned at the focal point of the projective geometry (back view which is opposite to the viewing point of the 2D image). These two views allow the generation of two images for superimposition over the acquired image, defining superimposition of the acquired image with a front view of the 3D representation of the observation region and superimposition of the acquired image with a back view of the 3D representation of the observation region.12-16-2010

20120114207TOMOGRAPHIC RECONSTRUCTION OF A MOVING OBJECT - A method is provided for processing a sequence of sets of 2D projection images of a moving object, wherein the sequence of sets of 2D projection images is obtained by a medical imaging system that is in motion along a trajectory. The method comprises determining a sequence of images which minimize a function dependant on a set of 3D images, a term of fidelity of the sequence of images, a function of spatial and temporal compression of the sequence of images, a compressibility parameter, and a sequence of operators for an approximate modelling of motion. The sequence of operators leads to a compression constraint augmented by partial knowledge of the motion and the minimization comprises defining a decreasing sequence of degrees of compressibility for which an estimation is determined from an initial sequence.05-10-2012
20120163532TOMOGRAPHIC RECONSTRUCTION OF AN OBJECT IN MOTION - A method for processing a sequence of a plurality of 2D projection images of an object of interest, acquired with a medical imaging system comprising a source of X-rays adapted to move around the object is provided. The method comprises obtaining 2D projection images of the object of interest according to a plurality of angulations at a first time when the object is without injection of a contrast product; obtaining 2D projection images of the object of interest according to a plurality of angulations at a second time when the object is opacified by injection of a contrast product iteratively treating the projection images by minimizing relative to a sequence of 3D images, wherein the minimizing solution is a set of estimated 3D images.06-28-2012

20090211969METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENHANCING AQUATIC ENVIRONMENTS - Submerged media useful with or without aeration and/or mixing to enhance an aquatic environment by promoting and retaining biogrowth. The media takes the form of a cluster of individual flexible elements having free ends. The media are submerged in a liquid such as a water or wastewater treatment basin or an aquaculture environment. The media are characterized by the ability to promote and retain microbial growth. The media clusters have substantial flow through thicknesses to provide a three dimensional effect along with baffling for increased contact with the liquid being treated. The media may be thin strips constructed to avoid sticking together to allow maximum exposed surface area. The media clusters can create oxic, anoxic and anaerobic environments for maximum treatment during flow through the media cluster. The flexibility of the media elements and their free ends automatically dislodges excessive biomass buildup to avoid clogging of the media.08-27-2009
