20090264102 | Virtual mobile and ad/alert management for mobile devices - Disclosed is a Virtual Mobile Management Process that can control any Mobile device by sending the required commands over an TCP/HTTP/HTTPS Connection. The client application on the device captures the snapshot of the device, compresses and encrypts the data and posts on the server. On the server, the xml file is then parsed, decrypted and decompressed and the corresponding values are stored in the database. The Console application on the server loads the most recent image from the database for every refresh for the complete session. The virtual view of the device starts only after the client explicitly authorizes the request from the server. When the user clicks on the Virtual View of the device on the Server webpage (Image posted by the device and retrieved via database) the image get displayed on the webpage. Also the virtual key presses and taps can be simulated from the server webpage. Ad management/alert notification allows a user to create new Advertisements/Banners/Alerts. Advertisements are managed by adding an image to the background of the Ad; Changing the Text on the Ad; Create Special effects for the Text on the Ad; Customizing Font color and size. After the Advertisements/Alerts/Banners are created on the server, the same can be pushed on to the mobile device. A command is sent to invoke the client Ad Listener application residing on the client. The client application uses the above message in the command as argument & includes the fully qualified server address & downloads the XML, parses it, applies the settings & displays the Advertisement. The Advertisement can be sent to the mobile devices instantaneously or scheduled for delivery at a later time. The user can get Alerts, Ads or banners on the mobile device without the need for browsing through the internet or explicitly requesting for the same. | 10-22-2009 |

The system includes processes and protocols employed in user initiation methods such as SMS, or data channel, queuing user sessions, routing user requests and establishment of dedicated communication channels for effective troubleshooting by authorized users and to compare device parameters against pre-defined set to generate a standards deviation report. A device client is resident on the mobile device non-volatile memory and is operable by the end user to invoke the application and initiate a request. | 11-15-2012 |
20120300649 | Mobile device throughput testing - The instant invention is a program applet that can be loaded onto mobile devices and directly interfaces with the operating system and automated test scripts. The program applet is capable of initiating the required transfer and will provide information regarding the progress of the transfer such that a test client can properly calculate the data throughput rates. The result is a minimization of time-to-market for test and measurement tools using software architecture that simplify and speed-up development and maintenance of test and measurement tools by removing awareness of complexity of external hardware dependencies from the actual test and measurement software code, and placing dependencies management to carefully defined components that could be reused and shared between multiple test and measurement software tools and systems at once. | 11-29-2012 |
20130054969 | Secured privileged access to an embedded client on a mobile device - Disclosed is an apparatus and method to access privileges of Virtual Mobile Management (VMM) client in mobile device. A disclosed example method contains an assigning embedded stub to raise the access privilege of the tool on a mobile device, the embedded stub is integrated by an operating system of the mobile device with “root” privilege, determining via a secured key exchange algorithm that the VMM client and tools is authorized to be installed on the mobile device then, the VMM client and tools of a mobile device are authorized to access a network interface of the Communication Endpoint Gateway (CEG) server, configuring the embedded stub to install the key exchange procedure for the shared certification between the embedded stub, VMM client and the session mediation server, enabling the embedded stub to communicate through a secure link via VMM client. | 02-28-2013 |
20130055016 | Session recovery during virtual mobile management - Disclosed is a method to enable wireless remote session recovery for a wireless device. Should a wireless device encounter a broken communication link during a virtual mobile management (VMM) operation, a method of automatic session recovery is disclosed which executes from a management console through a communication end-point gateway server in order to reconnect the mobile device. Under control of the session reconnection method, the device client listener and tools of wireless device re-establishes the signal and bearer links with a management console, over the air through the communication end-point gateway server (CEG). The communication utilizing the session recovery algorithm enables the wireless device to receive session information from the communication end-point gateway server, including the respective tools. | 02-28-2013 |
