20090013897System and method of improving throughput and vehicle utilization of monorail factory transport systems - Means and methods for optimizing the utilization of monorail-based vehicles carrying a work-in-progress in a clean manufacturing environment. The method includes increasing the number of pick up and drop off points on a primary or secondary monorail transportation network, to amplify the number and frequency of pick up and drop off events per vehicle per circumnavigation of the network or loop. By increasing the number of pick up and drop off events, the empty run or idle time of the corresponding vehicle will decrease, improving utilization and throughput.01-15-2009

20110140294Sulphur Granulation Apparatus and Process - A portable apparatus for producing sulphur granules includes a granulator with a rotatable drum having distinct zones for seed generation and product growth. The seed generation zone has an intense water spray pattern for each sulphur spray nozzle with intersecting water sprays to solidify molten sulphur and create seeds. The growth zone has a moderate, non-intersecting water spray pattern to allow sulphur nozzles to coat and grow a curtain of seeds into granules. The granulator's exhaust air is filtered either by a heated cyclone separator to recapture residual sulphur particles and moisture before venting, and/or by a granular air filter which uses the produced granules to filter the granulator's exhaust air. A two piece collar enhances maintenance of the granulator's drive system.06-16-2011

20090004192Recombinant anti-epidermal growth factor receptor antibody compositions - The invention relates to the field of recombinant antibodies for use in human cancer therapy. More specifically the invention provides compositions or mixtures of antibodies capable of binding human EGFR. Antibody compositions with 3 or more antibodies shown synergy in reduction of proliferation of representative cancer cell lines. Advantageous results have also been obtained with a composition comprising two different chimeric anti-hEGFR antibodies which show a new mechanism of action based on rapid and efficient receptor internalisation, induction of terminal differentiation and subsequent tumour eradication in an animal model. The antibodies of the invention can be manufactured in one bioreactor as a polyclonal antibody.01-01-2009
20100069262Method for Cloning Avian-Derived Antibodies - The invention relates to a procedure for linking cognate pairs of VH and VL encoding sequences from a population of avian cells enriched in particular surface antigen markers. The linking procedure involves a multiplex molecular amplification procedure capable of linking nucleotide sequences of interest in connection with the amplification (multiplex PCR). The method is particularly advantageous for the generation of cognate pair libraries as well as combinatorial libraries of antibody variable region encoding sequences from chickens or other birds. The invention also provides methods for generation of chimeric human/avian antibodies and expression libraries generated by such methods.03-18-2010
