20160041219 | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING POWER SYSTEM PARAMETERS - A method for determining a dielectric parameter of an electrical insulation of a power system component comprises the following steps: determining the activation energy of the electrical insulation, determining the actual temperature (T1) of the electrical insulation and the temperature (T2) to which the measurement is to be corrected, calculating a correction factor (Axy) by means of the Arrhenius equation, stimulating the electrical insulation with a DC voltage stimulation signal; determining a response for the power system to the DC voltage stimulation signal at the actual temperature, and determining the parameter of the electrical insulation at the temperature to which the measurement is to be corrected based on the response modified by means of the correction factor. Thereby, the individual characteristics of the power system apparatus insulation is taken into account. A device for determining a dielectric parameter of an electrical insulation of a power system component is also provided. | 02-11-2016 |

20080257388 | Gaming Chip Washing Machine - A machine for cleaning gaming chips or coins which includes means to convey individual coins or chips to a carrier wheel consisting of a vertically oriented disc having arranged about its periphery a plurality of coin or chip sized open recesses to receive individual coins or chips so that the coins or chips are supported on their edges and both faces of the coins or chips are exposed. The carrier wheel rotates through a washing station, a drying station arranged about said carrier wheel such that a drying air stream passes over and around said coins or chips in said carrier wheel. The coin or chip recesses in the carrier wheel are crenellated to allow washing fluid and the drying air stream to pass over the edges of the coins or chips. A total residence time for each chip that is sufficient to clean and dry the chips will lie in range of 10 to 20 seconds. | 10-23-2008 |

20100144449 | GAMING TOKEN - A method of forming a gaming plaque in which a decorative design is printed onto a clear polymer film which is then thermoformed into an outer plaque face; two plaque faces are then injection moulded together with a suitable polymer between the rear faces of the faces to form a gaming plaque. An electronic identification and data device connected to an antenna is located between said plaque films or adhered to the rear of one of said plaque films. | 06-10-2010 |

20160058238 | ESPRESSO MILK FROTHER - A milk frothing apparatus which includes a steam probe; a jug and jug support; a sensor to determine the depth of milk in a jug. The steam probe or jug support is movable preferably driven by stepper motor, to maintain the tip of the probe below the milk surface. A temperature sensor monitors the temperature of the milk in the jug. A micro controller is programmable to start the process; maintain the position of the steam probe relative to the milk surface, stop the process when the milk reaches a desired temperature and maintain records of the number of cycles and a measure of the quantity of milk treated. By using a sensor to measure the distance to the milk surface in a jug the tip of the steam probe can be maintained at the appropriate distance below the milk surface by moving the jug relative to the probe or preferably moving the probe. The process can be more precisely controlled by sensing the milk temperature and ensuring that the process is completed before the milk becomes too hot. The units may use steam generated in the espresso machine or use a designated steam boiler. The units may have multiple stations each with a jug and steam probe and associated temperature sensor. The stations may have the provision of a locking mechanism to prevent removal of the jug while the process is in progress. | 03-03-2016 |
