| 20090321438 | HOUSINGS - The invention relates generally to housings such as storage containers and to containers for sets of items that are likely to be selected either singly or in groups. In particular, but not necessarily so restricted, the present invention relates to a housing for receiving items for recording/recorded media such as floppy diskettes, computer/audio/video data tapes on reels or cartridges, dvd/ cd/ computer discs/ game discs and the like which should be stored in a clean and secure environment. Prior storage elements for computer disks, including floppy disks and diskettes, generally do not provide adequate simultaneous dispersement of the disks for ease of viewing and access. Storage containers for computer disks generally do not provide means for storing the containers themselves in an efficient manner, but users must rely on conventional bookshelves or other filing means which are not always appropriate or convenient. CDs/DVDs are generally stored in cases which are generally rectangular. Cases for the purpose of holding, protecting and identifying compact discs, digital video discs, and mini-discs have been in existence in various designs since the “disc” format came into the public domain. The present invention seeks to provide a light weight, inexpensive storage case for the above items, which can conveniently provide. The present invention seeks to provide a modular system for storage of dvd/ cd/ computer discs/ game discs and the like. The present invention also seeks to provide a storage means which can provide a secure means of storage whilst providing simple retrieval of stored items. The present invention also seeks to provide an organizing capability for stored items since each container may be connected to a plurality of identical containers to form a self-contained storage unit. | 12-31-2009 |

| 20080207420 | ROLLING MILL OIL FILM BEARING SLEEVE WITH FILLED KEYWAY - A method of at least partially filling a keyway in the metal sleeve of a rolling mill oil film bearing comprises machining a pocket into the keyway. A metal key is provided with a shape complimentary to that of the pocket, with at least one exterior dimension of the key exceeding a respective internal dimension of the pocket. The key is thermally shrunk to reduce its at least one external dimension to an extent sufficient to accommodate insertion of the key in the pocket. The thermally shrunk key is then inserted in the pocket, and allowed to thermally expand, thereby establishing an interference fit between the key and the pocket. | 08-28-2008 |

| 20090103795 | Robust motion correction for functional magnetic resonance imaging - A computer-implemented method to correct motion and interpolation effects for functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) analysis is provided. The method estimates the motion on every voxel of the data and removes those effects to leave a residual signal that can be analyzed to high accuracy. The estimation of the motion includes solving a normal matrix equation based on the local translational motion of each voxel of the head, and a regularization parameter that depends on the local spatial structure of the head. Methods to regularize a matrix from the normal equation using the regularization parameter are also provided. A rolling filter implementation for real-time processing and motion correction is provided. | 04-23-2009 |

| 20110293396 | MOBILITY SYSTEM - A mobility apparatus for transporting objects along a surface includes first and second slider arrangements for supporting an object to be transported. The first and second slider arrangements have a low friction lower surface and a high friction upper surface. The first and second slider arrangements are coupled by a common strap having first and second ends. The mobility apparatus further comprises a loop located near the second end, securing the second slider arrangement to a fixedly attached connection with the common strap. The mobility apparatus further includes first and second openings located in the first slider arrangement such that the first slider arrangement in an unloaded condition freely moves along an adjustment length of the common strap. | 12-01-2011 |
