20080265609Quick-attach/detach cab for vehicle - Removable cab components and a removable cab assembly for a vehicle. A durable cab assembly is provided, which generally includes a roof, a windshield and a rear panel that is removably attachable to the vehicle. In certain embodiments, the roof, windshield and rear panel are separate components, each separately removably attachable to the vehicle. In certain embodiments, each component of the cab assembly is removably attachable to the roll cage of the vehicle without comprising the integrity of the roll cage. The attachment and detachment of the cab assembly can be carried out manually, by a single person, in a short period of time, without requiring separate tools. The invention is also directed to the windshield, roof and rear panel as individual components adapted for quick attachment/detachment to a vehicle, and a method of attaching or detaching cab components or a cab assembly.10-30-2008

20100131757DIGITAL INFORMATION SERVICE - A system comprising a server which is arranged to store encrypted addresses and encryption information associated with the addresses. The server sending the addresses and encryption information to user equipment which is able to decrypt the encrypted addresses using the encryption information; and is able to access a locations associated with the addresses.05-27-2010
20100216392Configurable Module - A configurable module adapted for coupling to a host device comprises a stored user interface which is uploadable to the host device when it is coupled to the module. The user interface allows the module to be configured via the host device. The module may be coupled to a plurality of different host devices, including devices having a Graphical User Interface, such as a mobile phone, PDA, and laptop or personal computer. The module may be a digital audio broadcast (DAB) module including a DAB receiver. Alternatively, the module may include a wireless transceiver, such as a short range point to point, point to multi-point, or mesh wireless transceiver, for coupling the module to a network of wireless nodes, which may be the same or different. This module can also function when not coupled to a node, if configured by the host device or from prior connection with a node.08-26-2010
20110022476MEDIA PROVIDING SERVICE - A server, said server configured to receive information from a user equipment regarding interaction of the user with media content by a user of said user equipment; using said information to define preferences for said users; using said defined preferences to determine media content to be provided to said user, and transmitting information on said determined media content to said user equipment.01-27-2011

20080299890APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR VENTILATING AND COOLING ENCLOSURES DURING AN ELECTRICAL POWER FAILURE - An auxiliary cooling system is provided, which can be driven by hydraulic power and can be capable of actuating ventilation fans, normally operated by electrical power, when electrical power becomes unavailable, or when electric motors become inoperable. This system can be used as part of a method, wherein voltage can be detected by detectors and transmitted to a monitoring unit. The monitoring unit can make automatic decisions, based on the received detections, concerning whether to turn on or off backup electrical generators, and whether to turn on or off the hydraulic auxiliary cooling system.12-04-2008

20110137702WORKFLOW APPLICATIONS - A facility is described for enabling workflow applications. The facility receives a request to identify an optimized resource list that identifies resources capable of performing a workflow process task. The workflow process task can be associated with a document type relating to a document associated with a workflow envelope. The workflow envelope can store multiple documents of at different document types. The facility includes a workflow engine and a simulation engine. The workflow engine performs workflow process tasks based on the tasks identified in the workflow envelope. The simulation engine can employ modeling and historical data from a workflow metrics data source to generate the optimized resource list and identify identifying resources matching the workflow process tasks identified in the workflow envelope.06-09-2011

20090273788SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSPECTING SURFACES USING OPTICAL WAVELENGTH FILTERING - A system and method for daylight inspection of a surface, such as a railroad track, is disclosed. The disclosed system includes lasers, cameras, and a processor. The lasers are positioned adjacent the surface. The laser emits a beam of light across the surface at a combined intensity of at least 0.15 watts of intensity per inch of width of the surface, and the camera captures images of the surface having the beam of light emitted thereon. The camera includes a bandpass filter which passes only a band of light corresponding to a dip in solar radiation. The laser is selected to provide an emitted light beam which is more intense than the solar radiation at the dip. The processor formats the images so that they can be analyzed to determine various measurable aspects of the surface. The system and method includes one or more algorithms for determining these measurable aspects of the surface.11-05-2009
20090319197Tilt Correction System and Method for Rail Seat Abrasion - A system and method for determining rail seat abrasion of a rail road track is disclosed. An inspection system comprises lasers, cameras, and processors adapted to determine whether rail seat abrasion is present along the track. The processor employs a mathematics based algorithm which compensates for tilt encountered as the inspection system moves along the track.12-24-2009
20100007551Methods for GPS to Milepost Mapping - A method to increase the accuracy of the interpolation of railroad mileposts is disclosed. Based upon image data and data provided in customer track charts, reference points are selected along the track, and their location is verified using GPS data. Once verified, the locations of various points between the reference points are determined using mathematical interpolation.01-14-2010
