20080257661Automatic Parking Brake - The invention relates to an automatic parking brake acting on a disk brake and in which the piston of the brake comprises a cavity in which there is a spring (10-23-2008
20090120744ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE FOR A BRAKE PISTON - The invention is a electromechanical locking device for a brake piston of a hydraulically actuated wheel brake. The locking device is disposed at least in some portions in the interior of a hollow-cylindrical brake piston. This interior of the brake piston is filled with hydraulic pressure fluid and in the event of brake actuation is subjected to pressure. The invention includes a filler piece and a coupling element, which reduce the pressure-fluid-filled volume of the brake piston, prevent blocking of the locking device in its terminal positions, and make it possible for the two terminal positions of the locking device to be detected and evaluated by an electronic control unit.05-14-2009

20090113444Application Management - The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a method that includes executing one or more computer applications and ranking the applications according to one or more criteria that change in response to a user's interaction with the applications. State information for certain of the one or more applications is saved and one or more applications are terminated in response to a memory condition. Subsequently, one of the terminated applications is revived using the saved state information.04-30-2009
20090249247Notification of Mobile Device Events - A computer-implemented user notification method includes displaying, in a status area near a perimeter of a graphical interface, a notification of a recent alert event for a mobile device, receiving a user selection in the status area, and in response to the receipt of the user selection, displaying, in a central zone of the graphical interface, detail regarding a plurality of recent messaging events for the mobile device.10-01-2009
20110119610LIVE WALLPAPER - Display of on-screen elements is coordinated, which includes generating a graphical wallpaper representation in a first process on a first visual layer on a display of a computing device, generating one or more graphical objects in a second process on a second visual layer of the display, wherein the second visual layer is positioned visually on top of the first visual layer, receiving user interactions with the one or more graphical objects and generating information that reflects the user interactions, and communicating the generated information to the first process.05-19-2011

20090327187CONNECTIVITY IN A PEER NETWORK - Improving connectivity in a peer-to-peer (P2P) network involves packet forwarding by infrastructure or peers. A system can achieve full connectivity and a setup for transactions that takes a fraction of a second. The system can include a routing table that is initially configured so that packets to peers are routed via the infrastructure. NAT traversal heuristics can be employed to establish direct connections between peers in parallel with packet forwarding in accordance with the routing table. When a direct connection is ready, the routing table can be updated so that packets are sent P2P. If a direct connection cannot be made, the routing table can be updated so that the packets are sent through a peer intermediary without going through the infrastructure.12-31-2009
