20090039393SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME - The semiconductor device, which provides reduced electric current leakage and parasitic resistance to achieve stable current gain, is provided. A first polycrystalline semiconductor layer is grown on a p-type polycrystalline silicon film exposed in a lower surface of a visor section composed of a multiple-layered film containing a p-type polycrystalline silicon film and a silicon nitride film, while growing the first semiconductor layer on a n-type collector layer, and then the first polycrystalline semiconductor layer is selectively removed. Further, a second growing operation for selectively growing the second polycrystalline semiconductor layer and the third polycrystalline semiconductor layer on the exposed portion of the p-type polycrystalline semiconductor film exposed in the lower surface of the visor section without contacting the silicon nitride film, while growing the second semiconductor layer and the third semiconductor layer, so that the third semiconductor layer is in contact with the third polycrystalline semiconductor layer.02-12-2009

20090175224Wireless Base Station Which Operates In Degraded Mode In Mobile Communication System During Disaster, And Mobile Communication System - A mobile communication system prevents the reduction of large communication range even during disasters. A wireless base station includes a communication unit allocates frequency bands and output powers corresponding to distribution areas of wireless terminals, and performs communication with the wireless terminals. The communication unit uses a modulation method with a large number of multiple values to perform communication with wireless terminals in an area with small distribution area in proximity to the center of the cell area, and uses modulation methods with successively smaller numbers of values to perform communication with wireless terminals in larger distribution areas moving toward the peripheral regions of the cell area, and during a disaster, uses a modulation method with the smallest to perform communication over all distribution areas, sets the output power to the lowest value in communication with wireless terminals in an area with small distribution area in proximity to the center of the cell area, and sets the output power so as to increase gradually in communication with wireless terminals in larger distribution areas moving toward the peripheral regions of the cell area.07-09-2009
20090201801Mobile Communication System - To provide a method and an apparatus for achieving a cell redundancy. Base stations, to which different frequency bands are assigned, have active base-station transmitter-receivers with a predetermined number of wireless zones repeated. Some base stations also have standby base-station transmitter-receivers at the rate of one in every predetermined number of sites that have the predetermined number of wireless zones. Under a normal condition, the different frequency bands, which are obtained by dividing a predetermined frequency bandwidth by the predetermined number of the wireless zones, are established at the respective base stations in the respective wireless zones. Under a troublesome condition, different frequency bands, which are obtained by dividing the predetermined frequency bandwidth by the predetermined number of the wireless zones plus the predetermined number of the sites, are assigned to base stations in the respective wireless zones and to base stations that are positioned on the periphery of a wireless zone where the trouble has occurred and that have the standby base-station transmitter-receivers. Further, the output powers of the standby base-station transmitter-receivers of the base stations, which are positioned on the periphery of the wireless zone where the trouble has occurred, are adjusted such that the output powers are overlaid on the wireless zone where the trouble has occurred.08-13-2009

20090063047Navigational information display system, navigational information display method, and computer-readable recording medium - A navigational information display system includes latitude-and-longitude information and image receiving unit which receives latitude and longitude information of active type electronic tags installed in real space, and receives an image of a real scene containing objects. This system further includes an image-and-object matching processing unit which separates an image of an object containing an object image of the surroundings of each electronic tag from the image of the real scene, and calculates a relative distance of each electronic tag and a position of the object on the image of the real scene; and an image-and-route matching processing unit which estimates a display position of a route to a destination set in advance on the image of the real scene to calculate a size of navigational symbol information on the basis of the latitude and longitude information of each electronic tag, information on the route to the destination, and the calculated position of the object. In this system, navigational information containing the navigational symbol information is superimposed on the image of the real scene and then displayed.03-05-2009
20090243803TAG SPECIFYING APPARATUS, TAG SPECIFYING METHOD, AND TAG SPECIFYING PROGRAM - A tag specifying apparatus includes a tag ID receiving unit that receives from a tag a first tag ID for uniquely specifying the tag, an image analyzing unit that analyzes an image of an object in which the tag is embedded and acquires a second tag ID, a tag ID comparing unit that compares the first tag ID received by the tag ID receiving unit, and the second tag ID acquired by the image analyzing unit, and determines whether the first tag ID and the second tag ID match with each other, and an information acquiring unit that acquires information from the tag when the tag ID comparing unit determines that the first tag ID and the second tag ID match with each other.10-01-2009
20100228821DATA ACCESS SYSTEM, TERMINAL APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR ACCESSING DATA - The system comprises a portable information device, a terminal apparatus, and a server. A portable information device sends stored data to the server and transmits a network address of the server to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus receives the network address from the portable information device, detects a position where a physical object is in contact with the display unit and causing the wireless section to receive the network address from the portable information device, and controls the display unit to display an icon at the detected position of the display unit when he position is detected by the detector, and accessing the received network address when selecting the displayed icon data is selected from exterior. And server sends the data received from the portable information device to the terminal apparatus when the server is accessed from the terminal apparatus.09-09-2010
