20100318618DEVELOPMENT TOOLS FOR TRANSITION-INDEPENDENT WEB FEATURES - Computer-storage media, systems, and methods for facilitating development of web pages with cross-communicating tags are provided. The libraries and controls do not require a page transition or refresh operation to update information or instantiate features because the tags subscribe to a server for the information supplied to them. The update information can be requested by a first set of tags or pushed by a second set of tags. A package available online to developers includes development components for execution as part of a web page. These applications utilize APIs and a set of tags that are at least a portion of a markup language library. The tags are for initiating and executing web features, including instant messaging features. There is a developer interface to code the web page with the web application.12-16-2010

20080238917Graphics hub subsystem for interfacing parallalized graphics processing units (GPUS) with the central processing unit (CPU) of a PC-based computing system having an CPU interface module and a PC bus - A graphics hub subsystem for interfacing parallelized graphics processing units (GPUs) with the CPU of a PC-based computing system having a CPU interface module and a PC bus. The PC-based computing system includes system memory for storing software graphics applications, software drivers and graphics libraries, and an operating system (OS), stored in the system memory, and a central processing unit (CPU), for executing the OS, graphics applications, drivers. and graphics libraries. The graphics hub subsystem includes a hardware hub having a hub router for interfacing with the CPU interface module and the GPUs by way of the PC bus, distributing the stream of geometrical data and graphic commands among the GPUs, and transferring pixel data output from one or more of the GPUs during the composition of frames of pixel data corresponding to final images for display on the display surface. The subsystem also includes one or more software hub drivers, stored in the system memory. The CPU interface module provides an interface between one or more software hub drivers and the hardware hub. During system operation, the software hub drivers: (i) control the operation of the hardware hub, (ii) interact with the OS and graphic libraries, and (iii) forward the stream of geometrical data and graphic commands, or a portion thereof, to each GPU over the PC bus.10-02-2008
20090096798Graphics Processing and Display System Employing Multiple Graphics Cores on a Silicon Chip of Monolithic Construction - A high performance graphics processing and display system architecture realized on a monolithic silicon chip, supporting a cluster of multiple cores of graphic processing units (GPUs) that cooperate to provide a powerful and highly scalable visualization solution supporting photo-realistic graphics capabilities for diverse applications. The present invention eliminates rendering bottlenecks along the graphics pipeline by dynamically managing various parallel rendering techniques and enabling adaptive handling of diverse graphics applications.04-16-2009
