20090240224DISPOSABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE - A disposable absorbent article has a liquid permeable liner, an outer cover, and an absorbent body disposed between the liner and the outer cover for absorbing liquid body waste. A flow control layer is disposed between the liner and the absorbent body. The flow control layer is adapted to retard the flow of liquid body waste penetrating the liner toward the absorbent body. The flow control layer has a plurality of apertures for permitting at least some of the liquid body waste that passes through the liner to flow past the flow control layer toward the absorbent body without migrating laterally outward around lateral side edges of the flow control layer.09-24-2009

20080210398METHOD FOR PRODUCING THIN, HIGH CAPACITY ABSORBENT STRUCTURE - A method of making absorbent pads is disclosed. The method includes homogeneously mixing superabsorbent material and fluff in a forming chamber of an online drum former and wrapping a porous fabric over a forming screen on a forming drum of the drum former. The method further includes forming an absorbent pad from the homogeneously mixed superabsorbent material and fluff pulp as the homogeneously mixed superabsorbent material and fluff pulp exits the forming chamber onto the forming screen and compacting the absorbent pad to a density of at least 0.28 grams per cubic centimeter after the absorbent pad leaves the forming screen.09-04-2008
20100261812ABSORBENT STRUCTURE WITH SUPERABSORBENT MATERIAL - An absorbent structure made at least in part from a superabsorbent material having a retention capacity (CRC) as determined by a Centrifuge Retention Capacity Test of at least about 25 g/g and a free swell gel bed permeability (GBP) as determined by a Free Swell Gel Bed Permeability Test of at least 575×1010-14-2010

20110107768Variable Performance Valve - A variable performance valve for use in a fuel nozzle is presented. The valve includes a spring, an inner spool having a port, an outer sleeve, and an orifice, which in a fuel nozzle application may be a calibration orifice. In a low flow condition, the inlet to downstream pressure is the spring force divided by the area on which the pressure acts. At low flow the orifice does not cause any appreciable pressure drop. As the flow increases, a pressure drop develops across the orifice. Since the pressure drop across the valve cannot be greater than the spring force divided by valve area, the valve is forced to open to compensate. As flow is increased, the valve will stroke completely open and the pressure drop at the port becomes negligible and the pressure drop across the orifice is nearly 100% of the pressure drop across the valve.05-12-2011

20090292956TREND BASED TEST FAILURE PRIORITIZATION - Various technologies and techniques are disclosed for using historical trends from prior tests to prioritize how failures are reported in later tests. After a user changes a software development project, one or more tests are run to detect failures during execution of the tests. Any detected failures are analyzed in comparison with historical failures for the software development project across tests run for multiple users. Any detected failures are categorized as new or old. New failures are reported with a different emphasis than old failures, such as with new failures being reported as a higher priority than old failures.11-26-2009
