20100016953 | Anchoring Barb for Attachment to a Medical Prosthesis - Disclosed is an anchoring element for an implantable prosthesis that includes a barb, wherein the anchoring element, which includes a basal portion, comprises a thin layer of material, such as a cannula or sheet of metal, that extends or wraps at least partially around the strut of the prosthesis to which it is attached. The barb is configured to extend outward from the basal portion to penetrate adjacent tissue. The anchoring element is either permanently affixed to the strut, such as by laser or spot welding, crimping, or some other method of bonding, or allowed to slide longitudinally over the strut between two points or stops in order to relieve any excessive loads placed upon the barb that could cause fracture. The anchoring element and strut may be configured to limit axial rotation of the barb, while still allowing longitudinal movement. In another embodiment, the slidable anchoring element may be manipulated following initial deployment to reorient the barb toward the implantation site. | 01-21-2010 |

20110098682 | Locking Assembly for a Drainage Catheter - A drainage catheter includes an elongated tubular member, a locking assembly engaged with a proximal end of the tubular member, and a tension member for drawing a distal end of the tubular member into a desired configuration. The locking assembly includes a connector, a locking arm, and a locking mechanism. The connector has an exterior surface profile that corresponds with an interior surface profile of the locking arm. The locking arm is pivotably attached to the connector to enable pivoting movement of the locking arm between an unlocked position and a locked position whereby the tension member is secured between the locking arm and the connector when the arm is in the locked position. The locking assembly may alternatively comprise a connector and a sliding sleeve or a connector having a clamping element disposed therein. | 04-28-2011 |
20110125135 | Locking Assembly for a Drainage Catheter - A drainage catheter includes an elongated tubular member and a locking assembly. The locking assembly includes a first protruding element and a collar. The first protruding element is disposed proximal to a port in the tubular member through which a proximal portion of a tension member may exit. The collar is coaxially disposed about the tubular member and has a second protruding element projecting from an interior surface of the collar. The collar is configured for longitudinal sliding movement relative to the tubular member such that the collar may be moved along the tubular member toward the proximal end of the tubular member thereby interacting with the first protruding element and securing the proximal portion of the tension member between the first protruding element and the collar. | 05-26-2011 |

20140255790 | POLYMERIC POROUS SUBSTRATES INCLUDING POROUS PARTICLES - A polymeric porous substrate is described. The substrate may be used as battery separator or in other industrial applications. The polymeric porous substrate is formed from a polymer such as a polyimide or polyetherimide that, in the absence of porous particles, forms a skin when cast into a substrate. The polymeric porous substrate also includes porous particles. | 09-11-2014 |

20090090454 | METHOD FOR JOINING PIPING SYSTEMS AND PIPING TO EQUIPMENT, FIXTURES, DEVICES, STRUCTURES, AND APPLIANCES - A method to join pipe is disclosed using a curable one or two part adhesive composition comprising an effective amount of a boron containing initiator compound such as an organoborate, a stabilized organoborane complex, or combinations thereof; one or more monomers, oligomers, polymers or mixtures thereof having olefinic unsaturation which is capable of polymerization by free radical polymerization; and optionally a decomplexing agent. An especially preferred organoborane is one where a tertiary or quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded to the organoborane to prepare an amido-borate. In those embodiments where the nitrogen is quaternary, the quaternary nitrogen portion of the amido-borate is the cationic counter ion for the borate anion portion of the compound to which the quaternary nitrogen atom is bonded. | 04-09-2009 |

20150127453 | WORD RECOGNITION AND IDEOGRAPH OR IN-APP ADVERTISING SYSTEM - A non-transitory processor readable medium storing processor executable instructions is described. The processor executable instructions, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to: receive application data indicative of text from a user device via a communications network; analyze the application data for one or more indicator being at least a portion of the text entered into the application and having one or more meaning; retrieve one or more selected ideograph from a database populated with ideographs received from and associated with one or more advertisers, the one or more selected ideograph being indicative of a graphical representation of the one or more meanings of the one or more indicator; transmit the one or more selected ideograph to the user device via the communications network; and charge a fee to at least one advertiser associated with the one or more selected ideograph. | 05-07-2015 |
20150127753 | Word Recognition and Ideograph or In-App Advertising System - A non-transitory processor readable medium is described having processor executable instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to monitor application data from a user device via a communications network, analyze the application data for one or more indicator, retrieved one or more ideograph indicative of a graphical representation of one or more meaning of the one or more indicator, and transmit the one or more ideograph to the user device via a communications network. The application data is indicative of text entered into an application by a user via the user device. The one or more indicator is at least a portion of the text entered into the application and has one or more meaning. | 05-07-2015 |

20150039905 | SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING AN ENCRYPTED INSTRUCTION STREAM IN HARDWARE - A system and method of processing an encrypted instruction stream in hardware is disclosed. Main memory stores the encrypted instruction stream and unencrypted data. A central processing unit (CPU) is operatively coupled to the main memory. A decryptor is operatively coupled to the main memory and located within the CPU. The decryptor decrypts the encrypted instruction stream upon receipt of an instruction fetch signal from a CPU core. Unencrypted data is passed through to the CPU core without decryption upon receipt of a data fetch signal. | 02-05-2015 |
