20090215018 | Remote Observation System and Method of Use - The system enables the observer(s) to record video and audio received from the remote location. The systems and methods enable the capture, storage, and management of metadata linked to the observation video and audio. The systems and methods enable communication between users and enables sharing of metadata. The systems and methods enable the immediate sharing of metadata and performance feedback between the observer(s) and the observed. The systems and methods also allow for delayed sharing of metadata and performance feedback. The systems and methods use technology to overcome the barriers of distance, enabling feedback that occurs in context, with high frequency, distributed over time and that is individualized. The system manages the presentation of all data types to the users. The system can also manage the scheduling of people and resources allocated to the systems and methods implementation. | 08-27-2009 |

20090317313 | SULFIDISATION PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR ENHANCED RECOVERY OF OXIDISED AND SURFACE OXIDISED BASE AND PRECIOUS METAL MINERALS - A method of treating value bearing material comprising oxidised or surface oxidised mineral values includes the steps of crushing the value bearing material, contacting the crushed material! with a sulfide solution to sulfide the oxidised or surface oxidised mineral values, and adding ions of a selected base metal to the crushed value bearing material. The value bearing material may comprise oxidised or surface oxidised base metal or precious metal minerals. The crushed value bearing material is prepared as a slurry or pulp comprising from 15% to 40% solids and the remainder comprising water. The sulfide solution preferably comprises a soluble sulfidiser such as sodium hydrosulfide and the base-metal ion solution preferably comprises metal salt of base metals like copper or iron. In a preferred embodiment of the method, the sulfide ion concentration in the slurry is measured with an ion-specific probe which measures the sulfide ion concentration as a potential, and the quantity of sulfidiser solution in the slurry is adjusted to maintain the measured sulfide ion concentration at or near the predetermined value. The invention extends to an installation for treating value bearing material according to the method. | 12-24-2009 |

20150294243 | METHOD TO PROPAGATE A SYSTEM LEVEL UTILIZATION GOAL TO INDIVIDUAL SYSTEM ELEMENTS - Techniques are disclosed for propagating a system level utilization goal to individual system elements. For example, a utilization goal such as a load factor goal for a group of airline flights in a given market segment and time period may be propagated to each flight in the group. When propagating a load factor goal to a group of airline flights, a goal value, historical load factors, and a capacity of each flight in the group may be used to determine a load factor target for each flight in the flight group. The propagated load factor targets are expected to be realizable by each flight in the flight group and, in the aggregate, satisfy the system level goal. | 10-15-2015 |
