20090032017 | SUPPORT HEADBAND FOR OXYGEN SUPPLY TO NOSE - A personal oxygen supply tubing management system includes a headband for positioning and grasping the tubing. The headband includes a rear tubing entry point, a curved path for grasping the tubing to prevent sliding, and an exit over a patient's ears. The curved path is created by a flap which resides over the tubing and obstructions between the flap and the headband which prevents the tubing from assuming a straight path. For example, the obstructions may be four mutually offset snaps forcing the tubing to assume a curved path to navigate past the snaps. The headband may be worn as a headband alone or may be a headband of a cap or hat. Integrating the oxygen supply tubing management system into a cap, for example a common base ball cap, provides a degree of concealment and reduces or eliminates the embarrassment a patient may experience when wearing an oxygen supply. | 02-05-2009 |

20090045163 | METHOD FOR OBTAINING A TRANSPARENT CONDUCTIVE FILM - A method for obtaining a transparent conductive film comprises the steps of providing a transparent substrate, depositing a conductive film, of a thickness not greater than 5 μm, on the transparent substrate, and removing the entire thickness of conductive film from portions of the surface of the substrate in such a way that the residual parts of the conductive film on the substrate define a pattern formed by lines of a width of between 1 nm and 2 μm, with distances between the adjacent lines of between 10 nm and 2 μm, said pattern being predetermined in such a way as to obtain a ratio between full spaces and empty spaces corresponding to a desired degree of optical transmittance for the conductive film. | 02-19-2009 |

20100183449 | HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP FOR SUPPLYING FUEL TO AN INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE - A high-pressure pump for supplying fuel to an internal-combustion engine has a pump body and an actuating shaft which extends along a longitudinal axis and which is supported rotatably about the longitudinal axis by the pump body. The shaft has an eccentric portion and a prismatic jacking end. A first pumping station has a gear engaged with the prismatic jacking end and a second pumping station has at least one piston. The piston is slidable relative to the pump body transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis and is actuated by the eccentric portion of the actuating shaft. The prismatic jacking end is made of a harder material than the material with which the remainder of the actuating shaft is made. | 07-22-2010 |
20100242915 | SAFETY VALVE AND HIGH-PRESSURE PUMP COMPRISING SAID SAFETY VALVE - A fuel safety valve arranged in a fuel supply line between a low-pressure pump and a high-pressure pump, is provided with a valve body which defines a cylindrical cavity having a longitudinal axis and being connected to a duct and a portion of a discharge duct in communication with the cylindrical cavity, a piston sliding with respect to the valve body in the cylindrical cavity along the longitudinal axis, and a spring housed in a variable-volume chamber defined by a portion of the cylindrical cavity between the piston and a closure element. The piston is provided with a through hole supplied with the fuel leading into the variable-volume chamber, and the valve body being provided with a fuel discharge hole connecting the variable-volume chamber to the discharge duct. | 09-30-2010 |
20110011371 | PUMP UNIT FOR A FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE - A pump unit for a fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine is arranged along a fuel feed circuit and has a pre-feed pump and a high-pressure pump which has a pump body and a flange joined to the pump body. The feed circuit is provided with a feed branch and a delivery branch of the pre-feed pump which are formed, at least partly, in the flange of the high-pressure pump. | 01-20-2011 |

20090301099 | Power Generation - A method and an apparatus for generating power via a gas turbine are disclosed. Coal bed methane and/or natural gas, air or oxygen-enriched air, and steam are supplied to a combustor of the gas turbine. Coal bed methane and/or natural gas is combusted and resultant combustion products and a flue gas drive the gas turbine and generate electricity. A hot flue gas stream from the gas turbine is supplied to a heat recovery steam generator (“HRSG”) and the generator produces high pressure steam and low pressure steam. High pressure steam is supplied to the combustor of the gas turbine. CO | 12-10-2009 |
