20100215638METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF PROSTATE CANCER AND SCREENING OF PATIENTS BENEFITING FROM SAID METHOD - The invention relates to a method for treating ERG-positive prostate cancer patients with an agent counteracting one or more ERG-associated genes and/or manipulating of one or more ERG-related pathways, optionally in combination with an androgen deprivation therapy. Furthermore, the invention concerns methods for screening prostate cancer patients which may benefit from said treatment, assessing the efficacy of a therapy for treating prostate cancer in a patient, assessing progression of prostate cancer in a patient, selecting an agent to be tested for usefulness in the treatment of prostate cancer, and for assessing prostate carcinogenic potential of an agent.08-26-2010

20080277950BUMPER SYSTEM PROVIDING STORAGE AND ACCESSORY FUNCTIONS - A bumper system includes a structural polymeric reinforcement beam and one or more trim components covering visible portions of the beam. The beam has a center section forming a step, and end sections that form corners of the vehicle. The trim component(s) is a thin, lightweight component surface finished for aesthetics. The beam includes functional features, such as a storage pocket with lockable cover, lighting and accessory mounts, electrical connectors for connection to trailer wiring, remote vehicle electrical power, and/or a hidden tow hook. The bumper system is configured to provide a class II hitch, but via add-on components, can be made to be Class III or IV.11-13-2008
20090044729MULTI-FUNCTIONAL RUNNING BOARD AND RAMP APPARATUS - A running board system is provided for the light truck market, where a beam of the running board is removable to double as a ramp. For example, a single one of these beams can be used to guide a motorcycle onto a truck bed, or alternatively a pair of these removable beams can be used to provide a ramp for guiding a two wheel cart (e.g., hand truck), four wheel vehicle, or snowmobile onto the truck bed. Optionally, the beam includes lockable storage and/or includes brackets for securement of the beam(s) to the truck's tailgate when used as a ramp.02-19-2009

20110053874USE OF FLAVONOIDE COMPOUNDS FOR THE PROPHYLAXIS AND THERAPY OF ISCHAEMIC OR INFLAMMATORY HEART AND CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES - The present invention relates to the use of flavonoid compounds, particularly quercetin-3-O-β-D-glucuronide and kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucuronide and their glucosides, for preventing diseases of the heart. Red vine leaf extract has proved a particularly advantageous source of the flavonoid compounds in question.03-03-2011
20110129809METHODS FOR THE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AND ANTI-EDEMATOUS PROTECTION OF EXPLANTED BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL UNTIL THE TRANSPLANTATION THEREOF IN PATIENTS - The invention relates to a method for protecting transplants, as well as organs and individual blood vessels, against inflammatory reactions that are caused by the operative procedure linked to the explantation and storage until transplantation. This can be achieved by treating the transplant via intra arterial application of flavonol compounds, in particular with quercetin glucuronide and/or kaempferol glucuronide.06-02-2011

20090313071INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND MATERIAL FOR STERILIZATION FACILITIES - An automated system for management of information and distribution of materials associated with sterilization procedures includes a network server and client computers that communicate via a computer network. The client computers are distributed among sterilization facilities that require sterilization services. The network server exchanges a variety of information with the sterilization facilities. In response to information from client computers, the network server may trigger distribution of materials to sterilization facilities, and generates reports for record-keeping or cost-accounting purposes. The information distributed by the network server may pertain to the operation, maintenance and control of sterilization equipment, characteristics and capabilities of sterilization materials, and expert technical advice. The information received from sterilization facilities includes requests for information, orders for purchase and delivery of materials, and sterilization process information documenting sterilization procedures performed within a sterilization facility.12-17-2009
20090320998ARTICLES AND METHODS INCLUDING PATTERNED SUBSTRATES FORMED FROM DENSIFIED, ADHERED METAL POWDERS - In general the disclosure relates to manufacturing methods for producing conductive patterns on flexible substrates. For example, a layer of a metal powder composition is deposited onto an adhesive overlaying a substrate. Pressure is applied to the metal powder composition on the adhesive coated substrate web by a die having one or more projections, in order to reproduce a pattern on the substrate. The metal powder is compressed by the projections of the die, thereby densifying the powder and causing it to adhere to the adhesive in a reproduction of the die pattern. The metal powder does not adhere substantially in uncompressed regions, and may be removed. In this manner, a metal powder composition may be densified and adhered to a substrate forming a web of flexible circuit elements, for example, circuit elements such as antennas, resistors, capacitors, inductive coils, conduction pads and the like.12-31-2009
