20110079383INTERCHANGEABLE DRILLABLE TOOL - A downhole tool for use in a well has a mandrel with an expandable sealing element disposed thereabout. The mandrel has a head portion threadedly connected thereto. A shoulder in the head portion and an upper end of the mandrel define an annular space. A sleeve with a bore therethrough may be positioned in the annular space. The head portion may be removed and a solid plug installed so that it fits within the annular space and so that the downhole tool will act as a bridge plug. The downhole tool has slip rings made up of a plurality of individual slip segments that are adhesively bonded to one another at the sides thereof.04-07-2011

20110265986MULTIPLE LAYER EXTRUSION LIMITER - A downhole tool has a mandrel with a sealing element disposed thereabout. The sealing element is movable from an unset position to a set position in which the sealing element engages the well. Extrusion limiters are positioned at the ends of the sealing element. The extrusion limiters have first and second layers and the first and second layers are different materials. The second layer may be made up of a plurality of discs. At least one of the discs may be a disc with an irregularly shaped outer peripheral edge and a generally circular inner peripheral edge. A plurality of the discs with the irregularly shaped outer edge may be stacked and may be stacked with a generally circular or ring-shaped segmented disc. The first and second layers are stacked and then molded into a final shape for placement at the ends of the sealing element.11-03-2011

20120047162Method and System for Securing Academic ERP Database using Datasource Proxy - A secured academic ERP system comprises an ERP database storing data for an academic institution, an application server for authenticating users and generating requests to access the ERP database for the users, a security system that accesses a user permissions table that maps the users to permitted organizations within an academic institution and modifying the requests to limit the requests to the permitted organizations for the users making the requests, and a datasource for receiving the modified requests and passing those requests to the ERP database. This system extends security beyond the traditional role-based data security model to support the finer granularity security at the level of the content. This is achieved without the need for a new database architecture or the use of separate databases for different organizations02-23-2012

20110212643CONNECTOR WITH INTEGRATED LATCH ASSEMBLY - A connector utilizes a latching assembly that has a structure that connects horizontal movement of an actuator to vertical movement of a latching arm. A latching member is provided that grips the exterior of the connector and has a cantilevered latching arm that extends from the member over a mating portion for connection. In its simplest form the latching member includes a continuous retaining collar that fits over the exterior of the connector and exerts a clamping force on the connector so as to retain the latching member in place.09-01-2011
20110223809HORIZONTALLY CONFIGURED CONNECTOR - A connector of horizontal construction includes at least a pair of first and second halves that are mated together along a common mating line. A plurality of mating blades are supported in a vertical arrangement within a mating portion of the connector. The connector includes two distinct fastenings means for holding the housing halves together. A first fastening means is provided as a horizontal attachment member that extends widthwise in the mating portion in a space between the circuit cards. A second fastening means is provided as an exterior retainer that engages at least part of the outer circumference, or perimeter of the connector.09-15-2011

20080299813Vertical connector guide with press arm - A connector guide mounted in front of a receptacle connector is provided with a latch that engages a connector mounted on a circuit board when a mating connector is inserted into the connector on the circuit board. The guide is separate from the plug connector and serves to align contact surfaces and provide strain relief to the receptacle connector.12-04-2008
20090291572CONNECTOR SYSTEM WITH GUIDE - A connector guide mounted in front of a receptacle connector is provided. The guide may include a press arm that helps urge a mating connector into a desired alignment. The guide is separate from the receptacle connector and serves to align contact surfaces and provide strain relief to the receptacle connector.11-26-2009
20100210131LATCHING CONNECTOR - A plug connector for use with electronic devices provides a latching member that engages a mating hole in a guide frame with a hook, and which can be easily delatched from the guide frame or opposing connector or housing. The hook locks the plug connector into engagement with the guide frame or housing, but is readily released by actuation of an actuator (e.g., a pulling member), which causes the latching member to translate in a vertical direction so that the hooks are lifted upward and disengaged from the guide frame or housing.08-19-2010

20100031157SYSTEM THAT ENABLES A USER TO ADJUST RESOURCES ALLOCATED TO A GROUP - A system that allows a user to allocate one or more resources among members of a group, such as resources shared among a group in a telecommunications service plan. The system generates a user interface having a slider associated with each member of the group that shares a resource. Each slider includes a scale to display the amount of the resource that is allocated to the member, as well as an adjustable slider bar that may be moved along the slider in order to increase or decrease the amount of the resource that is allocated to the member. In addition to displaying the amount of the resource allocated to the associated member, each slider may also display the amount of the resource consumed by that member within a corresponding billing or reporting period.02-04-2010
