20120014212CONTINUOUS COMPOSITE RELATIVELY ADJUSTED PULSE - The invention relates to continuously or near continuously acquiring seismic data where at least one pulse-type source is fired in a distinctive sequence to create a series of pulses and to create a continuous or near continuous rumble. In a preferred embodiment, a number of pulse-type seismic sources are arranged in an array and are fired in a distinctive loop of composite pulses where the returning wavefield is source separable based on the distinctive composite pulses. Firing the pulse-type sources creates an identifiable loop of identifiable composite pulses so that two or more marine seismic acquisition systems with pulse-type seismic sources can acquire seismic data concurrently, continuously or near continuously and the peak energy delivered into the water will be less, which will reduce the irritation of seismic data acquisition to marine life.01-19-2012
20120035853UNIQUE COMPOSITE RELATIVELY ADJUSTED PULSE - The invention relates to acquiring seismic data in either land or marine environments, but typically marine environments where a pulse-type source is fired in a distinctive composite pulse like a distinctive rumble. In a preferred embodiment, a number of pulse-type seismic sources, sometimes called an array, are fired in a distinctive composite pulse to be able to identify within the returning wavefield the energy resulting from the composite pulse. Firing the pulse-type sources creates an identifiable signature so that two or more marine seismic acquisition systems with source arrays can be acquiring seismic data concurrently and the peak energy delivered into the water will be less, which will reduce the irritation of seismic data acquisition to marine life.02-09-2012

20110012242LEAD FRAME BASED CERAMIC AIR CAVITY PACKAGE - A ceramic semiconductor package provides for being surface mounted on a printed circuit board or other mounting surface. A ceramic frame is directly attached to a lead frame to define a cavity in which the base of a semiconductor device is mounted to the portion of the lead frame exposed at the bottom of the cavity. Interface terminals of the semiconductor device are attached to electrical contacts on the ceramic frame inside the cavity. The ceramic package provides a hermetic insulated path through which the signals can be routed from the device to the external leads. Additionally, because the semiconductor device is directly attached to the lead frame, power dissipation, i.e., heat dissipation, is more effectively provided by this direct connection without intervening layers of ceramic or conductor.01-20-2011

20090166463Portable winding and reeling apparatus - An improved winding apparatus for winding hoses and similar hose-shaped items such as those used in the firefighting industry. The apparatus includes a retainer including first and second pieces adapted for moving relative to each other in a complementary way for securing the hose to the winding means. Optional mechanical and electrical means for driving the apparatus are described. Rollers, left and right guide means and a squeegee comprise a three part guide and cleaning subassembly which aids in the reeling of the hose. The apparatus includes a modular core adapted to be permanently mounted to any vertical wall or alternatively easily connected to a handcart or fire truck for movement to fit the particular application.07-02-2009
20110220756Collapsible hose winding apparatus - An improved apparatus for winding hoses such as those used in the firefighting industry. The apparatus includes a control mechanism adapted for engagement by an operator to move the apparatus along a support surface while concurrently controlling the winding of the hose. The apparatus has an operating configuration and a storage configuration. In the operating configuration the control mechanism is at a first height convenient for the operator to move the apparatus backward and forward in multiple directions while concurrently to control rotation of a hose winder assembly. In the storage configuration the height of the control mechanism is changeable to a second height which allows storage of the apparatus in a substantially smaller space as compared to the operating configuration. Movement of the apparatus from the operating configuration to the storage configuration is enabled by separate wheeled front and rear frame portions movable relative to each other and to the control mechanism by a linkage arrangement. The linkage arrangement collapses and folds the apparatus upon itself and thereby reduces the height of the control mechanism with respect to the support surface.09-15-2011

20100292268Formulations Containing Clopidogrel and Sulfoalkyl Ether Cyclodextrin and Methods of Use - The present invention provides compositions containing clopidogrel, present as a free base or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and sulfoalkyl ether cyclodextrin (SAE-CD). The compositions can be liquid, suspension or solid compositions. They can be adapted for oral, peroral or parenteral administration. The SAE-CD serves to aid in dissolution and stabilization of the clopidogrel in aqueous media. The stability of clopidogrel against hydrolytic degradation, thermal degradation, and photolytic degradation are improved. SAE-CD provides improved results over other cyclodextrin derivatives. The SAE-CD-containing composition of clopidogrel can be provided in liquid form, solid form or as a reconstitutable powder. Both ready-to-use and concentrated liquid compositions can be prepared. The liquid composition is optionally available as a clear solution. The compositions herein can be administered perorally or parenterally and provide substantial pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and/or therapeutic advantages over a tablet composition administered perorally and excluding SAE-CD.11-18-2010
