20100122794METHOD FOR COUPLING TWO ADJACENT HEAT EXCHANGERS AND COUPLING UNIT FOR USE THEREIN - The invention relates to a system for coupling two adjacently placed heat exchangers, which is provided with a first coupling unit connected to the heat exchangers on a first side thereof, and a second coupling unit connected to the heat exchangers on a second side thereof. In each coupling unit an inlet duct is herein formed for one of the heat exchangers connected thereto and an outlet duct is formed for the other heat exchanger connected thereto. The inlet and outlet ducts can here intersect in each coupling unit. The coupling units can be identical and be arranged in the coupling system oriented in opposite directions. The coupling system can be further provided with a bypass duct extending from the first to the second side and running along the heat exchangers, which duct can run through the first and second coupling unit and between the heat exchangers connected thereby. The invention also relates to a coupling unit for application in a coupling system as described above.05-20-2010

20100047276Recombinant Vectors Based On the Modified Vaccinia Ankara Virus (MVA) as Preventive and Therapeutic Vaccines Against Aids - Recombinant vectors which are based on the Modified Ankara Virus (MVA) as preventive and therapeutic vaccines against AIDS. The recombinant viruses object of the invention contain sequences which are inserted at the same MVA insertion site and which enable the simultaneous expression of various antigens, a HIV-1 Env protein consisting of a gp120 protein lacking sequences corresponding to protein gp 41 and a chimeric fusion protein of Gag, Pol and Nef. Said viruses are stable and can trigger immune responses against a large variety of antigens. Those viruses having a chimeric protein that derives from sequences of HIV-1 are suitable for the preparation of preventative or therapeutic vaccines against AIDS, particularly for use as vaccination protocols comprising various doses and different vectors, as demonstrated by assays performed using other vectors from the invention, having the same genome organization, but a chimeric protein that derives from sequences of pathogenic SHIV02-25-2010
