20140035824 | Device, Method, and Graphical User Interface for Entering Characters - A device with a display and a touch-sensitive keyboard with one or more character keys: displays a text entry area; detects a first input on the touch-sensitive keyboard; in accordance with a determination that the first input corresponds to activation of a character key, enters a first character corresponding to the character key into the text entry area; in accordance with a determination that the first input corresponds to a character drawn on the touch-sensitive keyboard: determines one or more candidate characters for the drawn character, and displays a candidate character selection interface that includes at least one of the candidate characters; while displaying the candidate character selection interface, detects a second input that selects a respective candidate character within the candidate character selection interface; and in response to detecting the second input, enters the selected respective candidate character into the text entry area. | 02-06-2014 |
20140068520 | CONTENT PRESENTATION AND INTERACTION ACROSS MULTIPLE DISPLAYS - An application can generate multiple user interfaces for display across multiple electronic devices. After the electronic devices establish communication, an application running on at least one of the devices can present a first set of information items on a touch-enabled display of one of the electronic devices. The electronic device can receive a user selection of one of the first set of information items. In response to receiving the user selection, the application can generate a second set of information items for display on the other electronic device. The second set of information items can represent an additional level of information related to the selected information item. | 03-06-2014 |
20140218372 | INTELLIGENT DIGITAL ASSISTANT IN A DESKTOP ENVIRONMENT - Methods and systems related to interfaces for interacting with a digital assistant in a desktop environment are disclosed. In some embodiments, a digital assistant is invoked on a user device by a gesture following a predetermined motion pattern on a touch-sensitive surface of the user device. In some embodiments, a user device selectively invokes a dictation mode or a command mode to process a speech input depending on whether an input focus of the user device is within a text input area displayed on the user device. In some embodiments, a digital assistant performs various operations in response to one or more objects being dragged and dropped onto an iconic representation of the digital assistant displayed on a graphical user interface. In some embodiments, a digital assistant is invoked to cooperate with the user to complete a task that the user has already started on a user device. | 08-07-2014 |

20120325324 | AIR SEPARATOR AND AIR SEPARATOR WITH DUCTING FOR MAXIMUM COOLING AND FUEL ECONOMY - An assembly is provided for maximizing cooling in fuel economy in automotive vehicle having an argument. A grille opening in the vehicle allows air to flow toward the engine compartment along a first path and a bottom breather opening allows air to flow toward the engine compartment along a distinct, second path. An air separator extends between the first and second paths to prevent mixing of airflow along these paths. In one embodiment, the air separator is a thin dividing wall preferably formed of a deformable material. The deformable portion extends toward a condenser/radiator assembly at low vehicle speeds. At increased vehicle speeds, the deformable portion deflects and preferably adopts a generally curvilinear contour of ducting to enhance airflow along the second path. An associated method of controlling airflow is provided by terminating the air separator closely adjacent a condenser/radiator assembly to limit mixing of airflow along separate paths. Further, the air separator deflects in response to increased air flow to alter airflow through at least one of the first and second paths. | 12-27-2012 |
20130200655 | FRONT END STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE - A front end structure for a vehicle includes a fascia member defining a forward end of an engine compartment of the vehicle and a radiator disposed in the engine compartment rearwardly spaced from the fascia member. At least one structural brace extends from a location at or near an underside of the vehicle to a location at or near an upper end of the engine compartment. A duct member is interposed between the fascia member and the radiator. The duct member at least partially blocks the radiator and defines a duct passage extending from an underside opening of the vehicle to the radiator. The duct member has at least one recess defined therein that receives the at least one structural brace. | 08-08-2013 |
20130244562 | AIRFLOW DIRECTING MEMBER FOR A VEHICLE ENGINE COMPARTMENT - A vehicle engine compartment airflow directing member for use with an airflow introducing and directing system includes a base portion and a bottom breather airflow directing portion. The base portion is configured to be secured to support rods provided in the vehicle engine compartment and to enclose a space disposed immediately rearward of the vehicle bumper beam. The bottom breather airflow directing portion extends from the base portion and narrows a bottom breather airflow path within the vehicle engine compartment while also preventing bottom breather airflow from recirculating to a position underneath the vehicle bumper beam. | 09-19-2013 |
20130248141 | DUCTING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR DIRECTING AIRFLOW TOWARD A RADIATOR - A front end structure for a vehicle includes a fascia member defining a forward end of a engine compartment and a radiator disposed in the engine compartment rearwardly spaced from the fascia member. The front end structure further includes a duct member receiving airflow from an opening in the fascia member and directing the airflow to a location adjacent the radiator for restricting airflow around the radiator. | 09-26-2013 |
