20110209643Novel Crystal Forms of Quinacridones Made from 2,9-Dimethoxyquinacridone and 2,9-Dichloroquinacridone - Novel crystal forms of solid solutions of 2,9-dimethyoxyquinacridone and 2,9-dichloroquinacridone. The crystal forms may be formed by a process comprising the steps of: a) heating a mixture of 2,5-di(4-methoxyanilino)terephthalic acid, and 2,5-di(4-chloroanilino)terephthalic acid in polyphorsphoric acid at a temperature less than 1050 C to form a mixture of 2,9-dimethoxyquinacridone and 2,9-dichloroquinacridone; b) combining the mixture of 2,9-dimethoxyquinacridone and 2,9-dichloro-quinacridone with water; and c) heating the mixture of 2,9-dimethoxyquinacridone and 2,9-dichloroquinacridone at a temperature not more than 110° C. Another crystal form may be formed by the process of heating a mixture of 2,9-dimethoxyquinacridone and 2,9-dichloroquinacridone in a polar aprotic solvent. These products are may be used for coloring fibers, plastics, paints, coatings, printing inks, color filters, cosmetics, automotive coatings, textiles, fibers, powder coatings, in-mold coatings, laminate films, and the like.09-01-2011

20100076235Processes for Gasification of a Carbonaceous Feedstock - The present invention relates to processes for preparing gaseous products, and in particular, methane via the catalytic gasification of carbonaceous feedstocks in the presence of steam and an oxygen-rich gas stream. The processes comprise using at least one catalytic methanator to convert carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the gaseous products to methane and do not recycle carbon monoxide or hydrogen to the catalytic gasifier.03-25-2010
20100121125Char Methanation Catalyst and its Use in Gasification Processes - The invention provides processes for generating a methane-enriched gas from a gas mixture comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen such as gas streams generated by gasification of an alkali metal catalyst-loaded carbonaceous feedstock, and a char methanation catalyst useful in such processes.05-13-2010

20090031413VLAN Router with Firewall Supporting Multiple Security Layers - A router containing a firewall capable of supporting a plurality of different security levels. The router of the present invention creates a plurality of Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) using a network switch. The VLAN Rules Table (VRT) allows a network administrator to designate a trust level for each VLAN. The trust level may be different for every VLAN and the administrator may designate different rules for each VLAN. The Security Program (SP) analyzes each packet passing through the firewall and determines if the packet is permitted under the rules for the VLAN trust level. An alternative embodiment in which the switch in the router is divided into a plurality of sub-switches is also disclosed. In the alternative embodiment, the firewall need only compare the packet to rules which were not applied in the lower trust levels, eliminating the redundant rules from the comparison process.01-29-2009

20110099440SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MEASURING SOFT ERRORS AND SOFT ERROR RATES IN AN APPLICATION SPECIFIC INTEGRATED CIRCUIT - A test system includes a computer and an interface device for accessing a scan chain on an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) under test. The computer includes a memory that contains application software that when executed by the computer quantifies soft errors and soft error rates (SER) in storage elements on the ASIC. The interface device receives commands and data from the computer, translates the commands and data from a first protocol to a second protocol and communicates the commands and data in the second protocol to the ASIC. A method for measuring SER in the ASIC includes baseline, comparison, and latch up accesses of data in a scan chain in the ASIC. Between accesses, the ASIC is exposed to a neutron flux that accelerates the occurrence of soft errors due to ionizing radiation upon the ASIC.04-28-2011

20100133770Disc Golf Equipment Cart - A cart apparatus to facilitate the play of disc golf may include but not be limited to a chassis, at least three wheels rotatably coupled to the chassis, a handle member mounted to the chassis, a floor platform mounted on the chassis and at least one seat member retractably mounted on the floor platform such that the seat member descends through the floor platform with the application of a sufficient weight and the seat member ascends through the floor platform after the removal of the weight. The seat member may consist of a seat mounted on a support. When someone sits on the seat the seat support descends through a hole in floor platform until it hits the ground. The ground then supports the weight of the sitter. When the sitter stands up and gets off the seat, the member ascends through the floor platform back to its starting position, or close thereto. Folding or collapsible embodiments of the cart apparatus allow it to be stored or transported more easily. Alternative embodiments provide baskets, consoles and accessories to enhance the ease, convenience and enjoyment of disc golf.06-03-2010
