20100202454SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SENDING PACKETS OVER A COMPUTER NETWORK - The benefits of a multicast-enabled network are realized by a flexible, easy to deploy, software-based solution that does not require reconfiguring of network routers. Systems and methods that implement this solution can perform as follows. A packet is received that was sent by a sender to at least one receiver, and the packet includes a parameter relating to a multicast announce address. A forwarding rules set is associated with the packet if the parameter has a defined value. This forwarding rules set is used to determine whether any of the at least one destination addresses included in the packet corresponds to one of the receivers that has a receiver format that must be converted. In addition, the forwarding rules set defines when a packet should be converted from a sender format to a receiver format before forwarding the packet. The packet is converted from the sender format to the receiver format for each destination address identified as requiring conversion, and forwarded in accordance with the forwarding rules set.08-12-2010

20080298339METHOD FOR FREQUENCY DIVISION DUPLEX COMMUNICATIONS - The high quality PCS communications are enabled in environments where adjacent PCS service bands operate with out-of-band harmonics that would otherwise interfere with the system's operation. The highly bandwidth-efficient communications method combines a form of time division duplex (TDD), frequency division duplex (FDD), time division multiple access (TDMA), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), spatial diversity, and polarization diversity in various unique combinations. The method provides excellent fade resistance. The method enables changing a user's available bandwidth on demand by assigning additional TDMA slots during the user's session.12-04-2008

20110238370Methods, Apparatuses and Systems for Automatically Determining the State of a Cluster Tool - Methods, systems, and apparatuses are disclosed for determining the state of a cluster tool. In one embodiment, the method may include receiving status information for one or more modules of a cluster tool. The method may include defining one or more wafer flows through the cluster tool. Each wafer flow through the cluster tool may include one or more wafer flow steps performed by one or more modules. The method may include determining, with a processing device, the states of the one or more wafer flow steps in response to the status information. The method may include determining, with a processing device, the states of the one or more wafer flows in response to the state of the one or more wafer flow steps. The method may include determining the state of the cluster tool in response to the states of the one or more wafer flows.09-29-2011

20100249541Methods and Apparatus for Processing Physiological Data Acquired from an Ambulatory Physiological Monitoring Unit - A physiologic monitoring system and corresponding methods provide rapid and detailed analysis of data for one or more physiologic parameters to achieve a quick and accurate medical diagnosis. An ambulatory physiological monitoring unit acquires physiologic data, automatically analyzes it to detect an event, and transmits information regarding the event and physiologic data associated with the event across a communications network to a monitoring center, where the event information is analyzed and triaged. The monitoring center can also perform a retrospective analysis based on the physiological data associated with the event to provide an in-depth analysis of the detected event and an accurate diagnosis. The monitoring center can also request additional or different physiological data to refine the analysis. As a result, the physiological monitoring system and corresponding methods can ensure that timely and appropriate intervention is taken to reduce a patient's discomfort, pain, injury, or risk of death.09-30-2010

20110213139Polysaccharide Products with Improved Performance and Clarity in Surfactant-Based Aqueous Formulations and Process for Preparation - A process for producing anionic, nonionic, amphoteric or cationic derivatized polysaccharide products which demonstrate high clarity in surfactant-based compositions. The polysaccharide polymer is reacted for a sufficient time and at a sufficient temperature in the presence of water, caustic, and at least one surfactant. The polysaccharide polymer may optionally be reacted with an oxidizing agent, hydrolytic or proteolytic enzymes, molecular weight reducing agents and a cationizing agent and nonionic agent. The formed derivatized polysaccharide has a lower clarity in water than in an aqueous surfactant system. The derivatized polysaccharide product can be used in personal care and or household care products.09-01-2011

20080216260Scraper sponge - A scraper sponge for cleaning and scraping away unwanted substances from an object or surface comprising a sponge body defining a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface and a scraper secured to one of the first and second surfaces. As an alternative, the sponge body defines an aperture for securing the scraper therein. The scraper has a tip portion defining at least one edge and a depressible surface to which forces are applied to manipulate the scraper. The edge is narrow and adapted for entering corners, grooves and crevices and for scraping surfaces. The scraper is at least semi rigid and the depressible surface is contoured to facilitate effective scraping. The sponge body has at least one surface adapted for cleaning and scouring and is usable with or without the scraper.09-11-2008
20090211045HANDLE FOR A FLOOR CLEANING IMPLEMENT - A handle for an implement for cleaning a surface, such as a floor, includes an elongated pole, an end cap and a hang cap. The elongated pole has a top end and a bottom end. The bottom end of the elongated pole is adapted to be coupled to a cleaning head on the implement. The end cap is fixedly mounted over the top end of the pole and the hang cap is movably mounted over the end cap. The end cap and hang cap are constructed so that when the hang cap is mounted in place on the end cap, the hang cap may rotate relative to the end cap but cannot move up or down relative to the end cap. The hang cap may define a hole for removably mounting the implement on a hook attached to a wall.08-27-2009
20090249568Butterfly Mop with Internal Wringing Actuator - A mop having a handle with a wringing frame disposed at a distal end, which defines a cam slot. An actuator lever is pivotally attached to the handle intermediate the distal and proximal ends and is coupled to an actuator linkage that extends into the internal hollow of the handle and connects to a pad plate, which supports a cleaning pad, such as a sponge thereon at the distal end of the mop. The pad plate has hinges that permit it to bend upon itself. When the actuator lever is moved to wring the cleaning pad, the actuator linkage pulls the pad plate at least partially through the cam slot, causing it to bend at the hinges and wring the cleaning pad supported thereon.10-08-2009
