SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR GENERATING QUANTITATIVE PRICING POWER AND RISK SCORES - The present invention relates to a quantitative pricing power and pricing risk score generator and methods therefore, useful in association with an integrated price management system. Such a system may include a segment generator, a segment pricing power analyzer, and a segment pricing risk analyzer. The segment generator may receive or generate segments associated with a customer. Segment generation uses transaction level data which includes product attribute information, market data, and transaction history data. The segment pricing power analyzer and risk analyzer identify pricing power and risk factors, and assign raw scores to each factor, generates a weight for each raw score for each of the pricing power factors, and generates the quantitative pricing power and risk scores for each segment by computing a weighted average of the factors using the generated weights for each of the raw scores. Weights may be assigned according to default values or may be generated via an optimization. | 10-15-2009
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR CALIBRATING PRICING POWER AND RISK SCORES - The present invention relates to a power and risk score calibrator which includes segment pricing power and risk reconcilers, a segment cartographer, segment power and risk aggregators, pricing power and risk value comparers, and pricing power and risk value calibrators. The reconcilers receive quantitative power and risk scores for each quantitative segment, and receive qualitative power and risk scores for each qualitative segment. The qualitative segment and the qualitative power and risk scores are defined by a user. The cartographer generates consolidated segments. The aggregators may then generate consolidated power and risk scores for each of the consolidated segments, respectively. The comparers then reconcile gaps between the qualitative power and risk scores and the consolidated power and risk scores. From these reconciliations adjustment factors are generated, which are applied by pricing power and risk value calibrators. The calibrators may also perform a drill down to explain the gap between the qualitative scores and the consolidated scores. | 10-15-2009

The turbomachine is manufactured by diffusion bonding stacked sheets of metal foil, each of which has been pre-formed to correspond to a cross section of the turbomachine structure. The turbomachines include rotating elements as well as static structures. Using this process, turbomachines may be manufactured with rotating elements that have outer diameters of less than four inches in size, and/or blading heights of less than 0.1 inches. The rotating elements of the turbomachines are capable of rotating at speeds in excess of 150 feet per second. In addition, cooling features may be added internally to blading to facilitate cooling in high temperature operations. | 09-01-2011 |

Compression Status Bit Cache And Backing Store - One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for increasing available storage space within compressed blocks of memory attached to data processing chips, without requiring a proportional increase in on-chip compression status bits. A compression status bit cache provides on-chip availability of compression status bits used to determine how many bits are needed to access a potentially compressed block of memory. A backing store residing in a reserved region of attached memory provides storage for a complete set of compression status bits used to represent compression status of an arbitrarily large number of blocks residing in attached memory. Physical address remapping (“swizzling”) used to distribute memory access patterns over a plurality of physical memory devices is partially replicated by the compression status bit cache to efficiently integrate allocation and access of the backing store data with other user data. | 06-03-2010
EFFICIENT LINE AND PAGE ORGANIZATION FOR COMPRESSION STATUS BIT CACHING - One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for performing a memory access request to compressed data within a virtually mapped memory system comprising an arbitrary number of partitions. A virtual address is mapped to a linear physical address, specified by a page table entry (PTE). The PTE is configured to store compression attributes, which are used to locate compression status for a corresponding physical memory page within a compression status bit cache. The compression status bit cache operates in conjunction with a compression status bit backing store. If compression status is available from the compression status bit cache, then the memory access request proceeds using the compression status. If the compression status bit cache misses, then the miss triggers a fill operation from the backing store. After the fill completes, memory access proceeds using the newly filled compression status information. | 04-14-2011

Displaying changes to versioned files - Presenting changes to versioned files. The method can include presenting a first view comprising a plurality of indicators, each of the indicators corresponding to a respective version of a file. A selection of a particular version of a file can be detected. A selection of another version of the file can be detected. In response to the selection of the other version of the file, the versions of the file can be compared to identify differences between the versions. Comparison information based on the differences can be generated. The comparison information can be filtered so that the comparison information fits within a second view having a desired size. | 01-19-2012

MIGRATION OF VERSIONED DATA BETWEEN CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS - Described is a method for migrating versioned data from a source configuration management system to a target configuration management system. The method includes determining, for at least one historical period having versioned data items to be migrated from the source to target systems, an earliest versioned data item based on a start time for the historical period. At least one subsequent versioned data item is determined based on a sampling interval and an end time for the historical period. The earliest versioned data item and subsequent versioned data items for each historical period are migrated from the source configuration management system to the target configuration management system. Advantageously, migration is performed faster than if all existing versions are migrated and storage requirements are reduced. In addition, differencing tools in the target system can compare different versions of the migrated data items. | 06-23-2011

Methods and Systems for Proactive Loan Modification - Embodiments of the invention include a computer implemented method for automatically modifying the terms of a plurality of mortgages within a portfolio of mortgages, such that, monthly payments for the plurality of mortgages are reduced. The method includes calculating a current net present value for each of the mortgages in the portfolio of mortgages. The method also includes calculating a plurality of future net present values for each of the mortgages in the portfolio, each future net present value corresponding to one set of modified loan terms. The method also includes selecting the largest calculated future net present value. The method also includes automatically modifying the loan terms of each of the plurality of mortgages where the largest future net present value is greater than the current net present value. Loan terms are modified to correspond to the modified loan terms resulting in the largest net present value. | 01-27-2011

Method and System for Visual Collision Detection and Estimation - Collision detection and estimation from a monocular visual sensor is an important enabling technology for safe navigation of small or micro air vehicles in near earth flight. In this paper, we introduce a new approach called expansion segmentation, which simultaneously detects “collision danger regions” of significant positive divergence in inertial aided video, and estimates maximum likelihood time to collision (TTC) in a correspondenceless framework within the danger regions. This approach was motivated from a literature review which showed that existing approaches make strong assumptions about scene structure or camera motion, or pose collision detection without determining obstacle boundaries, both of which limit the operational envelope of a deployable system. Expansion segmentation is based on a new formulation of 6-DOF inertial aided TTC estimation, and a new derivation of a first order TTC uncertainty model due to subpixel quantization error and epipolar geometry uncertainty. Proof of concept results are shown in a custom designed urban flight simulator and on operational flight data from a small air vehicle. | 12-02-2010
