20160037947 | BEVERAGE COOLING DEVICE - A beverage cooling device for the rapid cooling of the content of canned or bottle beverages is provided. The beverage cooling device is a handheld device that easily engages the top of a can or beverage. The beverage cooling device includes a housing with side walls for mounting a motor. A container engagement member is attached to the motor along the bottom side of the housing such that it is able to freely rotate within the side walls of the housing. The container engagement member is attached to the drive shaft of the motor such that it is able to rotate when the motor is actuated. The container engagement member includes, at its center, a central gripping member for gripping the top of containers with long narrow necks. The container engagement member further includes peripheral gripping members for engaging containers having tops of larger circumferences, such aluminum beverage containers of varying sizes. The motor is actuated by an on/off switch. The motor rotates the container engagement member when actuated thus enabling the rotation of bottles or containers when engaged by the container engagement member of the beverage cooling device. Rapid rotation of the beverage container in contact with a chilling substance such as ice or ice water results in a very rapid chilling of the contents of the beverage container. | 02-11-2016 |

20160076213 | CORRUGATED FISH SCREEN WITH CONTINUOUS FLOW REFUGIA - A fish screen is presented having a porous surface made of two or more corrugations (e.g., elongated convex shapes) having an at least partially porous surface. The incorporation of a porous area on the corrugations allows increasing the total porous surface area compared to an underlying diversion area. The porous area is a magnification of an underlying diversion area, which reduces the fluid pressure (e.g., impingement forces) acting on the porous area of the screen. The valley between each pair of corrugations is solid, not porous. The solid valley(s) provide two important functions; they provide multiple small solid surface flow channels over the screen surface. These solid channels protect small or weak swimming aquatic organisms from impingement on the screen. That is, once organisms reach the solid channel, they may move along the solid channel free of impingement until they reach the edge of the screen. | 03-17-2016 |

20090007151 | Printing For Virtualized Applications - Procedures for printing virtualized applications are discussed. In implementations, a spooler is associated with an established virtual environment including a virtualized application. The spooler may be associated by making a native spooler, installed on a computing system aware of the virtual environment. In other implementations, the spooler may be virtualized such as by including an instance of a spooler in the virtual environment. A printer driver may be virtualized for use in print virtual application output. Virtualizing printer drivers may allow virtual applications to access and use printer and/or software resources without installing the resource on the device. | 01-01-2009 |
20110231837 | VIRTUAL APPLICATION PACKAGE RECONSTITUTION - Techniques for creating and using a recipe to create a virtual package for a virtual application. Existing methods for creating virtual packages may require the use of an expert or may not be reliable. In some embodiments, a dehydrator is use to create a recipe. The dehydrator may take as input a reference virtual package and install media for the application and output a recipe that may be used to create a particular virtual package for a particular operating system and/or environment. In some embodiments, a rehydrator may be used to create a particular virtual package from a recipe. The rehydrator may take as input a recipe and install media for an application and output a particular virtual package for a particular operating system and/or environment. | 09-22-2011 |

20160103701 | Storing and Resuming Application Runtime State - Execution of an application is suspended and the runtime state of the application is collected and persisted. Maintenance operations may then be performed on the computer that the application was executing upon. The runtime state might also be moved to another computer. In order to resume execution of the application, the runtime state of the application is restored. Once the runtime state of the application has been restored, execution of the application may be restarted from the point at which execution was suspended. A proxy layer might also be utilized to translate requests received from the application for resources that are modified after the runtime state of the application is persisted. | 04-14-2016 |

20130021468 | OPTICAL DETECTION OF RADIOMETRIC EVENTS - A coherent fiber array is used to optically detect a radiometric event. The coherent fiber array has a dome-shaped detection surface and a planar output surface. Optical energy from the radiometric event is detected at the dome-shaped detection surface and transferred to the output surface. The coherent fiber array retains directionality of the radiometric event while transferring the optical energy from the dome-shaped detection surface to the planar output surface. | 01-24-2013 |
