| 20090013968 | Vapor recovery system for a direct injector fuel rail assembly - A fuel rail assembly for injection of fuel includes a fuel injector socket having a fuel injector assembly inserted, a collar surrounding said fuel injector assembly and providing a gap there between; and a seal sealing the gap between the collar and the fuel injector assembly thereby forming a secondary chamber. Fuel vapors that escape the primary seal of the fuel injector installed in the fuel injector socket are captured in the secondary sealed chamber and are directed to an evaporative control system. The collar is designed such that only minimum modifications are required to both current injectors and current injector sockets. By integrating the collar into a DIG fuel rail assembly in accordance with the invention current DIG internal combustion engines may be converted to PZEV DIG engines. | 01-15-2009 |
| 20090269226 | Pump drive cartridge assembly - An anti-rotation sleeve for a high-pressure piston compression pump includes a sleeve having a generally cylindrical elongated shape and extending longitudinally along a central axis from a first end to a second end and features that provide orientation and that limit radial movement integrated in an inner diameter of the sleeve. The first end of the sleeve attaches to a base of the pump and the second end slidably engages a lifter body. The lifter body includes corresponding features that provide orientation and that limit radial movement integrated in an outer diameter of the lifter body. By providing an anti-rotation sleeve a relatively simple pump drive cartridge assembly that integrates all pump drive components into a one integral part is enabled. Hence, lower manufacturing and assembly costs, reduced manufacturing and assembly cycle times, and easier packaging conditions are obtained. | 10-29-2009 |

| 20120312205 | WOODKILN MOLDED COMBUSTION CHAMBER - The molded combustion chamber described herein is an improvement on prior art with a number of significant advantages. A single molded piece replaces many fabricated pieces of board and brick with uniformity of material and lower cost. It can be used by itself as a replacement for a grate in a wood/gas fireplace or as the key element of a metal or masonry fabricated fireplace. It can be molded up to 3″ in thickness, so that the focus can be on insulation and reflection rather than surface durability. The spherical baffle serves as a secondary combustion area, so that all flames are visible and significantly more heat is radiated into the living space. This design is more efficient and less costly than most EPA certified wood heaters with a secondary combustion chamber or catalytic converter. This design will also help a gas appliance meet the DOE efficiency goal. The absence of a grate and the insulating quality of the material used enable a very small coal bed to ignite new fuel. This is user friendly and facilitates the loading of a single large (all-nighter) log for a slow burn. The top of the chamber is flat for heating water and food. This design could be used in a large fireplace and would be particularly useful in underdeveloped parts of the world where there is no other means of cooking than a fire. | 12-13-2012 |

| 20090220183 | Wheel bearing assembly - A bearing assembly having improved impact Brinell resistance is provided. Due to a controlled gap between a rotating component and a non-rotating component or a vehicle suspension structure, the non-rotating component or the vehicle suspension structure is permitted to share impact loads caused by a sufficient side impact to the rotating component, thus preventing excessive loads from being transmitted to rolling elements, and providing greater resistance against Brinell impact damage that would generate a noise and/or vibration condition in the bearing assembly. The width of the controlled gap and of the area of potential contact between the rotating component and the vehicle suspension structure or the non-rotating component are optimized to increase impact Brinell resistance while avoiding excessive contact between the rotating component and the non-rotating component or the vehicle suspension structure during extreme cornering maneuvers. | 09-03-2009 |
