20140265578 | FINE TIMING ADJUSTMENT METHOD - Embodiments of the present invention may provide non-invasive techniques for adjusting timing in multistage circuit systems. A multistage circuit system according to embodiments of the present invention may include a plurality of circuit stages coupled to signal lines that carry signals. The system may also include a plurality of load circuits, one provided in for each circuit stage. The load circuits may have inputs coupled to the signal lines that carry the input signals. Each load circuit may include a current source programmable independently of the other load circuits that propagates current through an input transistor in the respective load circuit that receives the signal. The current propagating through the input transistor may provide a load on the corresponding signal line, allowing fine timing adjustment for each circuit stage. | 09-18-2014 |

20100139217 | METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING AND FILLING A FLEXIBLE PACKAGE - A flexible package is formed and filled in an in-line process by directing a web of film and a semi-rigid strip in a machine direction; folding the web of film into a pair of opposing walls with the semi-rigid strip there between; and selectively attaching the strip to only one of the opposing walls by controlling applied heating to opposing walls of the pair to seal one wall but not the other to the semi-rigid strip to define an opening between upper edges of the opposing walls. | 06-10-2010 |
20100139219 | METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING AND FILLING A FLEXIBLE PACKAGE - An apparatus for forming and filling a flexible package, comprises: a film unwind station for unwinding a web of flexible film from a roll of film; a folding station for folding the web into a pair of opposing walls; a strip unwind station for unwinding a strip of semi-rigid material from a roll of material and positioning the strip between the pair of opposing walls of the web; a metal buffer plate insertable between the strip and one of the opposing walls of the web; a first sealing station having a sealing bar for forming a seal between the strip and the other of the opposing walls; a second sealing station having a pair of sealing bars positioned to form a lower non-linear side seal between the opposing walls of the web of flexible film at spaced intervals; a third sealing station having a pair of sealing bars positioned to form an upper non-linear side seal between the opposing walls of the web of flexible film at spaced intervals to define connected pouches between adjacent lower and upper side seals; a first cutting station provided to remove a portion of the lower side seal and a portion of the upper side seal, while the remainder of the side seals remain uncut and connected at an upper portion of the pouches; a separating station having a knife positioned to separate the connected pouches into separate individual pouches; a filling station having a reciprocally moveable filling tube insertable into the individual pouches through an opening in the pouch for filling the pouch with a flowable material; a fourth sealing station having a pair of sealing bars positioned to form a top seal in the pouch to close the opening; and a second cutting station provided to remove a portion of the top seal. | 06-10-2010 |
20150059294 | PUCK WEAR DETECTION - A transport puck vertically aligns a caulking cartridge, nozzle-down. The puck includes (i) a substantially solid lower plug portion, having a lead face and a bottom face and an center passageway that is at least partially inverted frustum-shaped that forms a side contact face that tapers from a wider lead face opening to a narrower bottom face opening; and or to a tubular sleeve from the side contact face to the bottom face opening; (ii) an upper sleeve, shaped to receive the caulking cartridge in a desired vertical alignment to the lower plug portion; and (iii) at least one funnel-shaped bore into the bottom face with an inserted connector comprising a head and stem, the head spaced within the bore to define a spacing that has been determined to identify bottom face wear; | 03-05-2015 |

20150034671 | SPOUT FORMING STRIP REMNANT - A packet for viscous material includes a pouch that comprises an expressing-shaped first closure end and a second closure end and at least two opposing sidewalls. The closure ends and sidewalls define an enclosure. At least one closure end has an expressing shape and a separate rigid foldable flat cradles the pouch. The flat is of a material that is more rigid than the pouch. A spout-forming area separate from the pouch and the rigid foldable flat, is positioned on a rigid foldable flat side of the packet. The area is of intermediate rigidity or thickness to the pouch and the rigid foldable flat. The spout-forming area is derived as a remnant from a semi-rigid material strip that acts as a pouch-forming tacking strip during a pouch forming process. The spout-forming area reinforces at least a part of the pouch at the pouch expressing shape first closure end. The separate rigid foldable flat overlaps the spout-forming area to cradle the spout-forming area with the cradled pouch. A crease extends longitudinally in the flat and along the pouch to facilitate folding or rolling the more rigid flat to compress the pouch with the spout-forming area to express a content through the expressing-shaped first closure end. | 02-05-2015 |

20120008817 | EARPHONE DRIVER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE - A balanced armature motor assembly has a circuit board mounted to a bobbin. A first end of a wire coil is secured to a first terminal on the circuit board and passes through a first cutout of the bobbin. A second end of the wire coil is secured to a second terminal on the circuit board and passes through a second cutout of the bobbin. The first end of the wire coil is oriented along a first line tangent to a center post of the bobbin, and the second end of the wire coil is oriented along a second line tangent to the center post of the bobbin. In another embodiment, a compressed polymer material is interposed between a first magnet and a post located on the bobbin and between a second magnet and the post on the bobbin. The polymer material forces the first and second magnets into contact with the pole piece such that the magnets can be welded to the pole piece. | 01-12-2012 |
