20080280461ELECTROMAGNETIC CONNECTOR FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE - An electrical plug and receptacle relying on magnetic force from an electromagnet to maintain contact are disclosed. The plug and receptacle can be used as part of a power adapter for connecting an electronic device, such as a laptop computer, to a power supply. The plug includes electrical contacts, which are preferably biased toward corresponding contacts on the receptacle. The plug and receptacle each have a magnetic element. The magnetic element on one of the plug or receptacle can be a magnet or ferromagnetic material. The magnetic element on the other of the plug or receptacle is an electromagnet. When the plug and receptacle are brought into proximity, the magnetic attraction between the electromagnet magnet and its complement, whether another magnet or a ferromagnetic material, maintains the contacts in an electrically conductive relationship.11-13-2008
20090057357ARMBAND FOR HOLDING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE - An armband that holds an electronic device is presented. The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The armband also includes an arm strap wherein the proximate end of the arm strap is coupled to the pouch, and wherein the arm strap includes: holes arranged in a specified pattern; loop cells at specified locations along the length of the arm strap; and a hook cell located at a distal end of the arm strap. The armband further includes a ring coupled to the pouch configured to allow the distal end of the arm strap to be passed through the ring and pulled toward the proximate end of the arm strap so that the hook cell can be coupled to one or more loop cells.03-05-2009
20090230016PACKAGING FOR AN ARTICLE - Packaging for use with an article of manufacture, which includes a first member having a first interior cavity for receiving a first portion of the article, a second member having a second interior cavity for receiving a second portion of the article, and a molded hinge connecting the first member and the second member. The first member may be attached to an outer container for holding the article.09-17-2009
20100035441MAGNETIC CONNECTOR FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE - An electrical plug and receptacle relying on magnetic force to maintain contact are disclosed. The plug and receptacle can be used as part of a power adapter for connecting an electronic device, such as a laptop computer, to a power supply. The plug includes electrical contacts, which are preferably biased toward corresponding contacts on the receptacle. The plug and receptacle each have a magnetic element. The magnetic element on one or both of the plug and receptacle can be a magnet, which is preferably a permanent rare earth magnet although electromagnets may also be used. The magnetic element on the plug or receptacle that does not include a magnet is composed of ferromagnetic material. When the plug and receptacle are brought into proximity, the magnetic attraction between the magnet and its complement, whether another magnet or a ferromagnetic material, maintains the contacts in an electrically conductive relationship.02-11-2010

20110108449Packaging - Packaging comprising a base having an interior space for receiving an item, wherein the base includes a bottom surface and one or more side surfaces; a ledge formed along a side surface; and a holder supported by the ledge, wherein the holder includes a retaining mechanism for retaining the item.05-12-2011
20110122560INVISIBLE, LIGHT-TRANSMISSIVE DISPLAY SYSTEM - An invisible, light-transmissive display system with a light resistant material is provided. Substantially invisible, tapered, light-transmissive holes are penetrated in a light-transmissive pattern through at least a portion of the light resistant material using a laser beam having a focal width less than the smallest diameter of the tapered holes.05-26-2011
